No. The nra and groups like it are some of the most powerful lobby's in the halls of congress. There's a reason certain laws couldn't even get through a 60 vote Dem senate. The senate has direct advise and consent on a judicial nominee and senators like being senators. To take the leap from, second amendment advocates might be able to stop a nomination to "he wants you to kill her" is childish and asinine.

He's been in melt down for three weeks since mr. Khan eviscerated him. His polling has cratered and he's been saying insane things for three straight weeks.


Why would the left be desperate? There are red states that are now in play that trump is losing or tied with Clinton. He should be beating Clinton in Georgia, Arizona, Utah, south Carolina and he's either down or tied with Clinton.


So please, tell me why the left would be desperate?


This statement to call for a second amendment solution is a deal breaker. Watch as more normal republicans begin to jump ship.

I think the remark is slightly overblown.  But I think his defense of the comment is stupid, and I think his supporters defense of it is stupid.  No, he didn't mean "2nd amendment voters can stop hillary by voting".  That's a stupid thing to suggest, because he said at that point there's no way of stopping her.  Meaning AFTER the election.  Which means voting at that point would be useless.  The fact that he defended his comments that way is ludicrous.

The senate still has to vote.

Like it or not, President of the United States is a POLITICAL job, and it requires a skilled politician to effectively do the job.  

 

This is true.  The media is hanging on to every single word so he needs to be very careful refrain from his 1-liners that may be deemed actually funny if presented by a late night talk show host.

All I know is the dude in the background (reacting to Trump's statement) needs to take advantage of his new found fame.  He should go out and buy a $680,000 house based on his potential earnings.

That's pretty much the lowest of the low form of humans on this planet.  I'd love to see them be targeted for future arrests ..... like locking them up for 5 years for rolling through a stop sign.

Who cares if that's what he said? He's right. If the government oversteps its bounds then it is the People who returns it to its place, and the Second exists for EXACTLY that reason.

We had a thread discussing these protesters that said this. And every liberal disavowed it.


Trump inciting an assassination via our 2nd amendment rights, and conned-servatives are falling over themselves to explain to unexplainable.
