I'm with ya. Usually we're all but out of the race by mid October, which is sad. But it's impossible to not be excited about this team this year. I think a fast start is pretty important to the team and fans psyche.

On the other hand, he's not really a rookie, is he? Granted, he hasn't played a snap yet. But he's had a year to rehab, to mature physically, to learn the defense, to watch tape of other players. He's coming in way ahead of where he was when he got drafted.
As long as he's causing disruption and making QB's think or rush their throws, that's a good start. With Gipson back there now, even with potentially low sack numbers, he should have an impact.
im a gator fan. i like Fowler. let's take it easy. he has yet to play a down. talking like this only builds unrealistic expectations.
I dont realy care what his sack number is this year as long as he is making plays an disrupting the qb. Look at Macks sack number his rookie year but he still made plays and win rookie of the year. People look at the sack number to much

Exactly. As an FSU fan, I watched him once a year, then also I'd watch him in other Florida games (pulling against UF, of course :thumbsup: ).........even if he didn't do something that would show up in a stat sheet, he was just doing
something to wreak havoc and cause some sort of destruction of the play. He stood out. He flashed. I always liked the draft pick.

Yeah I'm a Gator fan and I felt the same way about Telvin Smith and Rashad Greene. I didn't see
Jalen Ramsey as much.

agree with everything. Loved the Smith and Greene picks but meh on the Ramsey pick playing him on the outside.
