Quote:Well you know what? I happen to be Mexican and I can tell you that what you just stated is flat out wrong. There is nothing in Mexican heritage or culture that advocates raping young girls.
I married a Mexican, her father is a respectful, God fearing man whose also not a rapist.

Are you an undocumented farm worker living in a shack and going to the bathroom in the cabbage fields? Then you weren't there.
Quote:You're deflecting.. straw man.. blah blah blah. Mexicans most definitely have a rape culture. Somebody's uncle knows a girl who confirmed it.
Hell, the next thing you know someone will attribute bigotry and racism on most Trump supporters because of some comments section loon.
Quote:Deflect, deflect, deflect. Build a straw man and burn it down. What else have you got? Nothing.
Oh, and Mexico will pay for the wall.
You are the perfect example of why Donald Trump and his supporters are labeled as racist. Your comment regarding Mexicans and their culture is not only flat out wrong, but very much racist. People that label Donald Trump and his supporters as racist do the very same thing that you just did with your comment.
By your logic, you say that because a group of Mexican men abused young girls, all Mexican men (or a significant portion of them) do the same thing. That's pretty much a racist stereotype that happens to be false.
By the same token because you make an ignorant racist statement, by your same logic all Trump supporters are racist and bigots. It's "in their culture".
Stupidity like that is going to put Hillary Clinton into the White House.
Quote:Are you an undocumented farm worker living in a shack and going to the bathroom in the cabbage fields? Then you weren't there.
No, I was born and raised as a U.S. citizen. Just because I wasn't there is irrelevant.
The FACT of the matter is rape is NOT part of the Mexican culture.
Try to spin your way out of your stupid ignorant remark.

So why? Why support him? It's clear that the way trump talks he's looking to divide and conquer based on bigotry.
If you see it, which you clearly do, why still support him?
To me, the fact that he's running his campaign in a fashion that allows bigotry to grow and intensify makes him an unacceptable candidate.
Does your hatred of Hillary cloud your judgment to the dangers of 4 years of poisonous vitriol?

Here is where you liberals are wrong.
First of all, I don't "support" Trump even though I plan to vote for him. My vote is simply against Hillary.
That being said, I haven't heard him say anything racist or show any kind of bigotry. Just because some of his followers have done so doesn't mean that he has those same views.
The bottom line is this election is pretty much a choice of the lesser of two evils. We get what we deserve and in my opinion Hillary is far more dangerous than Trump is.

No spin needed. The lady who related the story is family. She is neither stupid nor ignorant. But I'll tell her some guy on the internet claims it never happened.
Maybe it was like hillbilly culture and when a girl is old enough she better know how to run fast or shoot well. I don't know. It was certainly the culture on that particular farm and part of my extended family's history.
Quote:Hell, the next thing you know someone will attribute bigotry and racism on most Trump supporters because of some comments section loon.
Why would they do that when they can just go to YouTube and see the violence, vitriol and racism from the live events there?

And you can't unstupid stupid.

Do we still get to waste billions on a wall that won't work?

Here's what you conned-servatives don't understand, he's purposely walking a fine line to signal to the racists and bigots that he's with them.
The fact that you tacitly comply with his bigoted campaign is just sad. You just witnessed it right here, called it for what it was, but are still voting for it. That to me makes no sense

I never said that she was stupid or ignorant. I said that your comment was. Specifically when you say that rape is part of Mexican culture. It's not. Perhaps on that particular farm there were some sick individuals, but that doesn't define a whole race. Apparently you seem to use one particular incident to define what you think about a whole race, then try to say that it's a part of that race's culture. That's pretty narrow minded and indeed racist.
I never claimed that it didn't happen. However, you (wrongly) use one case to define the "culture" of a whole race.
Go ahead, try to put words into my mouth and keep trying to spin your way out of it.
Quote:Do we still get to waste billions on a wall that won't work?
The idea of a wall isn't going to work 100%, but it would certainly aid in stopping/slowing the flow of illegals coming into this country. It's more than our current politicians are doing.

Here is where you liberals are wrong again. How is his campaign "bigoted"? All I witnessed right here is a Trumpette that is racist, but that doesn't define all Trumpettes.
As I said earlier, it's a choice between the lesser of two evils. I'll take someone who hasn't broken the law or compromised national security over someone who has done just that and got away with it.

But interestingly most are quick to label all muslims due to a few...

Sorry I wasn't able to audit everyone of Mexican descent before posting something I did know to be true. I didn't press the issue with her but got the impression the practice was widespread in migrant communities. I'm not anti-Mexican but I do recognize other cultures have different values. Just like I recognize some Muslims have 6 wives and beat them regularly. That's part of their culture and the wives signed up for it. It's not American culture and I wouldn't ever want it to be.

So, one person tells you about a horrific event in her childhood, you don't ask for more details but still arrive at the conclusion that raping girls is practiced by a significant number of migrant Mexican men.
If that's not bigotry, I don't know what is, but it goes a long way towards explaining your support of Trump. He pushed the right button.
