Ayers was a long visit and we see how that worked out. May be talking with his agent going over options and will decide where he will go in Jacksonville like Ayers did...except Ayers didn't have as many options.

 

Mike Kaye said its "rare" that they leave, but you never know.

Maybe he's staying at the Gator Lodge. Somebody go down and convince him to sign.

I would think the Jags would have to gamble and give him a long term deal for LT money to land him. Honestly I think it's a good move. Joeckel makes a fine swing tackle.

Doubt it. Beachum would be better off on one year deal to build his value back up if he has a chance. Right now people likely aren't offering the huge $$ he wants because of the ACL.

I can't believe that I'm feverishly checking this website and twitter to see if a possible backup recovering from an ACL injury will be signed. Wake me up when the draft happens.

   Another possibility is the Jets,  if D'Brickashaw Ferguson decides not to restructure his contract.   That could open the door for the Jaguars and/ or some other teams pursuing the 11 year vet.

Both are horrible.

We've been getting played like chumps all free agency. Fly to Jacksonville, get a free steak dinner, listen to dopey Gus for a little, then take the Jags offer to a better team.

If Beachum doesn't want to play here then screw him, we will be fine without him. Our season isn't gonna come down to kelvin friggin Beachum I promise.
