#1 Not really. Jacksonville is more Georgia. You'd need to move further south to Miami area for the "florida babes"

Haven't you heard?  The west side is the "best side"...

It'll probably glassed with that "you can see out but you can't see in" mirror glass.
Quote:Ticket sales don't represent the only revenue stream for the team.  The exact quote from Lamping was that 1 in 8 dollars of revenue come from the annual London game.

That is correct, to perhaps explain, Forbes reported this breakdown for 2014:

  • Revenue2 : <b>$315 M</b>
  • Operating Income3 : <b>$67 M</b>
  • Debt/Value4 : <b>7%</b>
  • Player Expenses5 : <b>$140 M</b>
  • Gate Receipts6 : <b>$54 M</b>
  • Wins-to-player cost ratio7 : <b>40</b>
  • Revenue per Fan8 : <b>$74</b>
  • Metro Area Population: <b>1.4 M</b>

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY QUOTE OF THE YEAR MATERIAL....
Quote:So I just watched and listened to Khan.

Some of the statements and the way he said things kind of struck me.

***DON'T BASH ME, I REALLY WANT A LEGITIMATE DISCUSSION!!!!!!!!***

He said in the interview on the main site and I'm paraphrasing, he wants to succeed and stay in JAX. (Khan did seem kind of snobby)

He doesn't sound like moving is NEVER out of the question, which I believe the reporter was trying to get out of him.

They also made it very clear today that the Jags strength in London needs to remain high in order for the franchise to be stable in Jacksonville.

As residence in JAX, is this "new" news? Or is this basically how you've been feeling for a while?

A lot of Jags fans, myself included keep saying with all these renovations/investments, the Jags are not going anywhere.

I was pretty shocked that Khan didn't give a firm statement and otherwise dismiss the whole question all together.

"We aren't going anywhere" is what i was expecting to hear.
This is what Mr Khan said..." I think it bears repeating, that we plan on being here in Jacksonville" http://www.jaguars.com/news/article-Jagu...f5aaa4b05a

This aint' no Stan silence.  Please don't expose an inferiority complex.  Support the team.  The videos look great.

Moving is never out of the question. They're trying to make the franchise work in your city but if it's unsustainable then of course they'd look into moving. Most teams in the league operate exactly like this, only a handful of teams will never move (Dallas, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, NYG, NYJ, Chicago, Denver and one or two others).

The fact that the Jags have an owner who is trying to make it work is something you should be happy with.

Khan has vision.

I like the new projects and I look forward to seeing it come to fruition.

This stadium will be an amazing place on Sundays when this team starts winning and we fill the place with Jags fans.

Hope that happens sooner than later.

I fully have to disagree with this the reality is teams don't just pick up and leave like that. It is in very rare cases when they move that's why it's such an outrage and story when they do.

I think what he was trying to say is that there is only a handful of teams that will never move. Everyone else do not have that certainty
Wow! The plans for the new stuff around the stadium is very cool... but umm... what about doing something about putting together a winning football team instead of wrapping a turd in gold paper?

Yes, we can't have nice things until the football teams wins... Dumb.
Next year's schedule should be be fairly easy to resell seats..  Packers coming in so that game will be 50% higher for single tickets. Vikings and Broncos also travel well...

Never is a strong word... Especially given that Dallas and Chicago have both had teams move, Pittsburgh/Philly swapped teams back in ancient history, etc...

Green Bay is really the only one I would come close to saying "never" solely based on their unique ownership structure in which some 360,000 people own the team.
