I haven't noticed a thread of this type yet, so I apologize if this has already been started and if it has, would a great and powerful Mod please merge?

Anyway, this thread is about the player or players that are your guys. They can be First Rounders, Mid Rounders, Undrafteds, anything you want. Want a Kicker? Put his name down. See a basketball player that you think can play Tight End? Let's have him. Got three guys in the Second? Well, a bit far-fetched but why not?

For my list, and they are not listed in any particular order nor sorted by Probable Round:

Myles Jack, LB, UCLA - To me, he's as athletic as they come. I can see him becoming our version of Patrick Willis.

Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State - He's what Denard Robinson all grown up would be. He shows such amazing "football" ability to me and I think he could line up most anywhere on the Offense.

Victor Ochi, EDGE, Stony Brook - He's quick and he's violent, but he's undersized. Let's be honest, you can't live with a 6' 0" Defensive Lineman on the field every down in the NFL but the man has terrifying quicks. I think he'd be a great "project" to have on the roster and you'll probably get him for nothing more than a UDFA contract.

Keenan Reynolds, RB, Naval Academy - Him being a Ring Knocker aside, I'm a big fan of getting lots of guys on offense who have developed their football IQ, and this guy seems to have it in spades. See if he can block and catch and you have yourself a nice little backup Running Back on the cheap.

Who are yours?

I've focused too much on the top of the draft, so I'll say:

Myles Jack - He's listed at 225, but if he can play around 235 and still have that speed, he's going to be great. I see him more of a OLB (or our OTTO). With a healthy Marks and Fowler, couple in Telvin Smith and Jack, our front 7 is going to be fast and really strong. You fix our front 7 and our secondary is going to look WAY better.

I don't really have my list together yet, but I'm hoping:

CB Artie Burns -Miami - 6'0 - 193lbs

... is there in the 3rd round.

I think he'd be good value there and could become the guy opposite House by the end of next season.
Jalen Ramsey as either S or CB in 1st

Scooby Wright as OTTO in 2nd

Karl Joseph as FS in 3rd (if he lasts that long)

Karl Joseph - Best safety in the draft.

Myles Jack - Stud linebacker/running back
Jalen Ramsey
Nice thread OP but mine are...

1a Jalen Ramsey/ 1b Vernon Hargreaves at 5 If Bosa is gone. The Gator in me has wanted VHIII since 2014 but with our glaring need at FS and the production of Telvin and R. Greene, I'd definitely add another Seminole to help our current corners.

Rd 2 If Jaylon smith LB ND falls to the late 1st (27-31) i expect a trade up by DC but if not then Jonathan Bullard DE/DT UF because he's good at setting the edge and TFL. He would be able to free up our OTTO on pass rush plays with marks and odrick in the middle, etc.

Rd 5 or later: Kelvin Taylor RB UF Based on his style of running i think he would take over as a good number 2, or 3 if Gray keeps that level of play into next year, on our roster behind TJ. Plus add his father was a heck of a competitor.

I don't follow many teams in college and look at the individual games and player tendencies after the season and compare them to the team needs/ style so once i see other players this can change.

VH3 - 1st round

Derrick Henry - 2nd or 3rd

Shawn Oakman - 3rd or 4th

Alex Mccalister - 3rd - 5th

out of the positions we need

Quote:Jalen Ramsey

This unless we get lucky and Joey Bosa drops to us. Bosa is my favorite because I got many chances to see him play, but Jalen Ramsey is both a BAP and need pick.
MACKENSIE ALEXANDER in every round

SHawn Oakman - what happened to his early season hype? I kept hearing about this guy and possibly being a top 10'er, but now he's projected much later. Also, I believe he'd be more on the left side, non leo, correct?

He had kinda a down year compared to last year, I dont think he would ever been a top 10 pick like some thought, he's 6'9 and about 24 years old, so prob plays a lil high and his upside is limited, but he is a physical freak which you can take in the mid rounds.

He probably can't play any way EXCEPT for up-right, WOW - he's huge!!!
Sebastian Tretola in the 3rd. Basically because he's a guard. We can probably get him in the 3rd and that formula has worked twice already (Linder/Cann). Move Cann to Center.

STRENGTHS: Starting at left guard for the Razorbacks, Tretola has a thick upper and lower body with broad shoulders, using his brute power to anchor off the snap and establish his spot. But for a player of his massive size, he also moves relatively well, showing the mobility and body control to block in space and eliminate defenders, especially on screens.

WEAKNESSES: Can be late with his hands and struggles to reset and deliver blows.

One more vote for Alexander. He just seems to have the toughness and attitude to go along with great cover skills. I know he didn't have many int's, but that's mostly because they didn't throw much at him. If Bosa and Ramsay are gone, Jags could possibly even trade back a little and, in addition to Alexander, obtain an extra 3rd rounder. I'd love to see them use that extra 3rd plus our extra 6th and 2nd rounder to then move up and get Jaylen Smith. He may turn out to be the best player in the entire draft.

If Bosa and Ramsey are gone I want the best defensive player at #5.
Leon Sandcastle.

I've kinda just started watching tape on draftbreakdown, but I have some worries about both Ramsey and Hargreaves.

I've only watched one game tape of Ramsey, and it was against Miami, and it seems like he was exploited when matched up with a fast WR. Again, this is just my opinion from one game, so I could be wrong.

For VH3, coming from a gator fan, he is purely a cover corner. Obviously no one expected him to be really physical, but he definitely avoids hits as much as he can.

2 cents.
Since everyone is now on the Ramsey and Jack bandwaon I will go with Darron Lee hopefully in the 2nd and Paul Perkins or Jonathan Williams hopefully sometime day 3.
