Why would a team give up a 2nd round pick for a player two years removed from being a 2nd rounder, who hasn't done anything noteworthy? It would like buying a 2 year old used vehicle for same price it was purchased when it was new.

He has a ton of potential, so sacrificing that would have to be strongly considered. BUT, it does appear from everything we hear that Dave is going to go hard in FA for defense, is he at the point of going "all in" though? We've done very well on offense without the help of Lee.
Remember ARob and Hurns will receive lofty extensions if they have a third impressive season. Is there room to afford a trio of receivers? I think not

In theory it makes sense because the team is fairly deep at WR and there are a number of promising players stashed on the PS as well.
(Sterling, Copeland, Evans, Benn, and Bailey all have real potential IMO) Yet, I'm not sure any of them boast the speed that Lee brings to the table.
I'd like to see Lee take on a bit of the role that Torrey Smith had around 2012/2013 with the ravens. They'd send him deep a few times per game and chuck it downfield when he outran the coverage. It worked often enough to be effective, and it was his speed that got him open most of the time.
With Robinson and Hurns sure to draw more attention in 2016 - this could be a very handy weapon in Olson's arsenal.

You'd be selling low by trading Lee now. That doesn't seem wise. Highly doubt we'd sniff anything better than a 4th at this point and I wouldn't consider a 4th a good deal.
Belichick is on record as really liking him and is definitely no stranger to draft day maneuvers. FWIW.

No team is gonna give up a great LEO for Lee, we have more then enough money to sign a guy in FA.
Greene has been great as a PR, but as a WR he is avg like 4.9 ypc lol, he's not even on the same level as Lee as a WR even when Lee was a rookie he was better then Greene

I think you may be underestimating Greene a bit. I think he could end up being a really good slot WR as well as PR.
I'm making no proclamations this is happening, I thought it was an interesting and actually somewhat viable idea. We are really set at WR and have depth. No, you don't trade away a weapon, but Lee hasn't proven he is that. If you can (IF) get an up an coming Defensive guy, I think you do it.

I'd see how Lee does this season and then flog him at trade deadline if he's surplus to requirmemts. Might get a 3rd.

I don't think Lee could challenge Robinson as #1. Lee has top end speed but AR15 is significantly better in every other category.
I seriously doubt the team is going to trade Lee this year unless they are offered something they simply can't turn down, like a 1st or 2nd round pick. I don't expect to see that on the table.
