Exactly. There isn't some blockbuster trade in the works for Lee.
Interesting thought about trading Lee. I think we can all agree that his stock will either plummet or skyrocket next year. I know which one I'd bet money on, The former.
Lee ain't going no where.
Quote:O'Halloran is a moron, for the record.
He's just hoping they can make a WR spot open for Blackmon to return. Lol!
I like Lee and he showed some flashes towards the end of the season. I don't think we should trade him at all, we'll need him if ARob, Hurns or Greene get hurt.
My first thought was no way anyone would trade anything of real immediate impact value for Lee.
Then I remembered the Cleveland Browns.
Cleveland is desperate for a WR. They might trade a 2nd for him.
Lee gives you an explosiveness this team lacks. Hurns is good and tough, but lee's potential is on another level. He should finally be able to heal up those hammys in the off time and seek out a better workout, warmup, cool down regime for himself much like Blake last year with his arm.
As for his trade value to the team, 2nd round. To other teams I would think a late 4th. No way id trade him unless the offer is too good.
He has upside, but isnt worth much in trade value atm.
No thanks.
Lee has the one thing this Offense doesn't have, game breaking speed. He hasn't really did anything in the NFL and they spent a high 2nd round pick on him. I bet we couldn't get anything better then a 4th round pick and his upside is way better than a 4th rounder. Nobody in their right mind is going to give up a proven pass rusher for him.
He gets another year to try and prove he can stay healthy and get on the field.
Unless someone trades a 2nd round pick for him (which ain't going to happen....), I'd keep him. Even though we have great 1&2 WRs, we need great depth at the position beyond that. Maybe he can stay healthy? That's a big maybe. But if he can, he'd be worth keeping around.
GO JAGS!!

Go look at AROB vs the Saints on that 90 yard catch for a TD.

...Against Browner ,one of the worst corners in the league and very slow. ARob is faster than people give him credit for but bad example.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Browns were much better next year. Love Hue Jackson. Went 8-8 with the Raiders.... Gus has 12 wins in 3 seasons.

Lol, against Browner? really? If AR15 didn't out run him, that would have been a serious problem.
AR15 isn't slow by any means, but you're dreaming if you think he has the same kind of speed that Lee has.
I would definately trade Lee for a 3rd rounder or an impact pass rusher or LB. I mean, sure he is great depth but if he can't find his way on the field in an impactful way per the talent he's surrounded by, then what's the point in keeping him. Especially if U can get decent to good value for him.
As a few others have said, one of the Jags biggest problems is team speed, and that's Lee's main attribute.
Plus I actually thought he came on pretty strong towards the end of the season but Bortles missed him long a few times.
That dang Bortles. But had he connected, it wouldve watered down ARob's fantasy stats, and then I probably wouldnt have this $$$ & crown I have now.

It was very clear that him and Bortles had very little chemistry going. Which isn't surprising considering Lee literally missed all of the OTAs/training camp. I think I read somewhere that Lee had like 5 complete practices, until about half way through the season.

Agreed. If they had connected on a few of those deep shots during the last quarter of the season I think the general feeling would be different regarding Lee.
