Quote:Who is a better pass rusher in the draft? Myles Jack?

I am not trying to act like Joey Bosa is on Von Miller's level.
Myles Jack?  Not sure if serious?

I just asked who is a better pass rusher than Joey Bosa.
Watching todays practice, wow is Rankins fast and explosive for a 300 pounder

Rankins looked dirty as hell out there. Plz him in teal plz.
Quote:Spence isn't going top 10. I compare his situation to Randy Gregory from last year. I expect him to be available late 1st, early 2nd.

Gregory had more working against him than prior substance-abuse issues while in college. Not really an apples-to-apples comparison there.
Quote:Do you seriously believe Spence is going in the top 10? That's my biggest issue, is that you think he's going in the top ten when there's easily 10 prospects better than him. You don't need to pick him at #5 if you really want him.

He's not a top 5 talent and it's not because he isn't good, it's because he isn't better than the potential 5 guys ahead of him.

Already has the Saints taking him out to dinner to get a measure of where he is regarding his prior issues and the Jets have also courted him multiple times so far, as well. His stock is clearly rising. Unless he does something remarkably stupid like fail the pre-Combine drug test or royally bomb his interviews, I can definitely see him having that kind of rise.

Also, let's be real here, freaking DeForest Buckner was just getting top-5 hype not even a week ago, so spare me the whole "there are 5 guys better than him" stuff.

You don't think Spence would be a top 10 pick if he didn't have the off field issues and had stayed at Ohio State for his whole career? I think he would have been easily, and still might.
Quote:The best pass rusher in the draft is indisputably Joey Bosa.
The best defensive end is, probably, Bosa.

The best pass rusher is Spence.

There is a difference.

And the Jaguars only interview at the Senior Bowl was with a receiver. That just about tells you how much those meetings actually mean in the grand scheme of things.

You're obviously not going to change your opinion on this. If you feel like he's worthy of a top 5 pick, that's great, that's your opinion. But my opinion (and probably 99% of any reputable draft analysis) is that he won't even sniff the top 5, and rightfully so.

I don't know where he would've went if he had stayed at Ohio State his whole career. What I do know is that the draft is loaded with defensive talent and even if he had stayed at Ohio State, he still wouldn't be the only big dog in the draft with his type of upside.

No he isn't he's just the most well known at this stage. Spence is better from a talent perspective.
Quote:Noah was tested randomly 5 times while at EKU and passed them all. At this point, it's safe to say that he's checked all the boxes about his ecstasy use.

Also, screw what all the mock drafters say. I really don't care what their big boards or mocks say. When I watch Spence, I see a top-10 pick that I'd take at #5 all day, every day.

I know X is a bad drug but its not one of those drugs thats just so easy to access and something guys casually use like weed and alcohol.

So I think he is done with it, I have no issues with picking him at 5
I have no problem selecting Spence at 5 also. Gotta risk it for the biscuit anyway. When it is all said and done I believe Spence won't even make it past the Giants at 10.

There is a difference when the best pass rusher is a linebacker,

Spence is a DE with the chance to play LB in a 34.

Our defense is a 4-3, so he would be a DE in Jacksonville.

Most likely.
People who want to watch Sheldon Rankins play in the Senior Bowl will be disappointed.
