Quote:Isn't 230 small for a linebacker?

It's on the smaller side but its not uncommon. A few guys off the top of my head who played at or below 230 would be Mike Peterson, Geno Hayes, Malcolm Smith (SB MVP), and of course Telvin Smith.
When will we know the North and South team rosters?

For what it's worth, Rob Rang has him listed as the #3 Free Safety prospect. His triangle numbers are rather impressive, but will need to become "officially official" at the Combine. He's got that whole Level of Competition thing going against him though, but I just bet he's going to be a monster Special Teams guy.

I think 3rd or 4th round.

He also has experience playing CB on the college level
Spence is a real talent, but his off the field issues are just as real.  It's great that the Jags will have a lot of contact with him at the Senior Bowl.

Also good that the Jaguars coaches are getting a good look at FS and interior OL.

What about Coker?
Mills at FS please!

I didn't watch any Penn State games this year.  Anyone have thoughts on Carl Nassib?

Still growing into his body and runs a little awkward (trips over his own feet sometimes). Agility isn't great but has decent speed. Plays with very good leverage and wastes no steps going after the QB. Very hard worker and a clean up guy.

Definitely a project, but could good be worth the investment. I would consider him in rounds 2-3, in hopes of adding 10-15 more pounds of bulk on him.

Wouldn't touch him until the 6th round.
How about Darian Thompson, FS from Boise?
Thompson would be a good possibility if they opt to pass on a free agent free safety and Ramsay is off the board. The other scenario would be if they really like what they see in Thompson at the Senior Bowl allowing them to take the BAP not named Ramsay in the 1st ( Alexander, Buckner, Jack or Hargreaves) and then take Thompson in the 2nd.

Oakman and Ragland are on gus' roster just announced today. Players to keep an eye on.

Noah Spence too.
Looking at those rosters I can't help thinking the North team has the better QBs again.

Not that we care about QBs, but pride in our team makes me want to win the game!

Def. glad to see those guys on South team.
And looks like we won't be working with Nassib, Matakevich, Thompson and Fairbairn - all players we might have had an interest in.
