I was speaking about priorities in the draft. I expect them to pursue Mack in free agency. If this signing doesn't take place, Caldwell will probably have Bowanko, Shatley, Cann and possibly Wisnieuski compete for this position. Taking a center that high (1st 3 rounds) in the draft will not be his priority. On the other hand, they need someone to push Joeckel and this year's draft class at left tackle is one of the deepest. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they get a "steal" at this position in the 3rd round. Johnstone, Murphy and homegrown Theus are all guys who they could develop and eventually become starters if Joeckel doesn't significantly improve.

Rd. 1 Jack

Rd. 2 Spence

Rd. 3 Johnstone

Free agents: Mack, Vernon, Gipson and Jenkins/Smith at corner.

Kentrell brothers

Blake Martinez

Noah spence

Jerell Adams

Evan boehm

I would be surprised if at least one of those guys doesn't end up a jag.
Why be surprised? There are 110 players at the Senior Bowl.

#Jaguars just met with QB Dak Prescott, now meeting with #TCU RB Aaron Green. We actually like the idea of a player like Green in JAX.

I'll share some Falcons news as well since we have similar defensive needs as them.

Interesting prospect:

Tweet from RosterWatch (@RosterWatch) - Wow - Sebastian Tretola, #Arkansas OG looks just like Larry Warford did. Meeting w/ #49ers now - team needs interior OL help badly.

TCU running back Aaron Green has a very similar running style to TJ Yeldon.

Yep. A little bit smaller, but also a little bit faster in terms of straight line speed. Interesting prospect for our team.

Does this mean they are considering Jeff Driskel as a possible replacement for Chad Henne?
I'd keep an eye on Blake Martinez for the later rounds.

I'm starting to really warm up to the idea of Noah Spence. Real glad the Jags get a week with him to get to know him as a person and see if his problems really are behind him.

I don't understand why he is on the South team. EKU is in the northern half of the United States.

Is there a MisterJagsFanatic? Would love to hear what he has to say about this.

The East South Central States constitute one of the nine Census Bureau Divisions of the United States.

Four states make up the division: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The division is one of three that together make up the larger Census Bureau Region known as the South (the other two of which are the South Atlantic States and the West South Central States).
