Happy for him. Well deserved.

I'm also glad that he does not seem to have that diva attitude that is common to other NFL WRs

cough Odell cough
i want my star WR to have a *little bit* of a diva attitude

like if he only gets a couple targets a game, I want him expressing his displeasure

FTFY.
That's not always the case though

Sometimes, a guy just doesn't get looks for whatever reason

Great job AR-15!   However its not like the pro bowl is an intense game.   Lately been like a game of half run two hand touch.

Indeed well deserved.

You think you do, but you really don't.

For every Randy Moss/Chad Johnson "Give me the ball" type, there's a Marvin Harrison/Torry Holt "Do my job" type.
Quote:I wonder how far down the alternate list he is. Dalton won't play as an alternate I'm sure, Brady, Cam, Palmer, Ben all could drop out, Wilson/Rodgers could too. Carr is an alternate, Fitz maybe? Then above Blake would maybe be Teddy bc of wins, who else? Maybe Rivers?

So after the current voted guys, the ones left with name recognition are

Dalton

Carr

Fitz (just bc big market)

Teddy

Rivers

Blake has a decent shot of getting in.

Even if he hadn't broke his thumb I don't see him getting in. For starters you'd need the Bengals and Vikings to meet up in the SB. Then you'd still need Carr, Fitzpatrick and Rivers to hold out, although all three ended up playing week 17.

Quote:Black Bortles jersey, check

Teal Telvin jersey, check

White CS3 jersey...... I guess check.

Pro Bowl ARob jersey in bound.

Yeah I hope he is on the black and gold team. I'll get his jersey regardless though.
Congrats Allen! My favorite current Jag!!

lol if you don't think those guys were verbal.
Quote:Hey a positive thread!!! Congrats to AR15!

It was well deserved-- unlike that year Garrard got into the pro bowl.

The irony. Garrard did do his thing once playin da game tho

Yeah, and ARob got da ill ball spin too
question people.. i have madden 15 i want to create allen robinson.. can anyone tell me what his post updated week 17 overall rating is for madden 16.. thanx
Are we at a point where we can say ARob is better than J. Smooth?

While Jimmy perfected the tippy-toe sideline catch, he was so quick to find the shortest route to the sideline whereas Allen understands the importance of scoring TDs. As for hands, I would say it's a wash disregarding Jimmy's last few years when he struggled with drops. Speed appears to be a wash as well. I'll give Jimmy a route running edge only because you rarely ever saw him not double teamed, and ARob will still draw occasional single coverage, but even there it's close. All said, I feel we very well may be talking about the best WR in Jaguars history, and this was only his second season.

ARob needs to have more than 1 good season dude.

I think eventually he can be the best but he's got a lot of work.

I'll give you that, but presuming he keeps doing what he did this year, there's a good debate to be had.
