He hyperextended his knee pretty bad in the Fiesta Bowl, looked like an ACL tear. Considering LBs already aren't drafted highly and he was the exception, how far do you think he drops in the draft? I think he stays in the first round but how far down does he drop? He likely won't play a snap his rookie season, and if he does it will be very late into the year? Far enough for a team picking in the top of the second to trade up back into the first for him?
It didn't look like the classic ACL tear where the player's leg buckles, that may actually (hopefully) just be a hyperextension.
Selfishly, I'd love a 1) Hargreaves/Ramsey 2) Jaylon 3) Nassib draft.
Hmmm...
Myles Jack, Jaylon Smith, Scooby Wright - all legitimate first round caliber talent yet all injured during the season or missed significant time during the season.
I wonder if the group as a collective gets an asterisks since Mora advised Jack to return to his senior year after the injury due to draft rooms being very conservative when it comes to perceived value regarding injured or rehabbing players.
Scooby Wright is not a legitimate first-round talent.
Didn't see it, but did Bosa get ejected for the play? Is he dirty?

Get ejected for what play?
Bosa got ejected for targeting Notre Dame's QB and it was a garbage call by the official.
Based on the way his knee buckled, looks like the MCL or LCL are most likely to be impacted - they're located on the inside and outside of the knee. That would be better than an ACL tear. Hopefully there's no structural damage at all.

Sorry, got 2 plays mixed up and that post came out completely wrong.

It looked like he was pushing to get a hit before the ball was thrown. He then led with the helmet. Didn't look intentional, meaning, didn't look like he was trying to hurt the guy. He didn't even wrap his arms around him.

Garbage as in the correct call?

I should rephrase that as garbage rule rather than garbage call.

Agreed. Make it a personal foul but it's disgusting that so many players were thrown out of games for targeting. No rule in college needs to be changed more than the horrible targeting rule.

Sure, he is.

That penalty was bogus. I could not believe they even threw a flag. He hit the chest area and was not even close to Kizer's helmet. As Notre Dame marched down the field to score touchdowns all I could think was how stupid the officials are to call a hit to the ribs targeting.

LOL It is both a garbage rule and a garbage call. The way the rule is written, a hit to the ribs is not targeting. It only applies to hitting another players
helmet.
I always thought the rule is stupid. Fifteen yards and an automatic first down is bad enough for the defense.
Sucks that Jaylon Jaguar has to be removed from the top tier of wish lists. Now it's down to Jalen Jaguar or Myles Jackuar for me.
I really hope I don't have to pare this list down to where it's only Vernon Harguar III left.
