I don't think you have ever seen Gabbert play
Id be willing to bet that if Jags were to land Romo and we dont make the playoffs, I would stop posting here.

Seriously.

People need to get some perspective.

Gabbert could only dream to put up the numbers Blake did last year.
Say what you will, but Romo brings star power and automatic prime time game to our schedule.

You may want to add an injury clause here...

Hopefully we'd have more than the 5 days Romo played football the last 2 years.

he has to take the whole package. I hope he does come here now.
Tom, Dave, and Khan don't mind spending the money but they don't want to waste it
I wouldn't mind it but if it was my money I wouldn't do it. Give that much money to a player that will likely not make it out of preseason

Some would consider spending 60m+ on a guy with his best days behind him a waste. I don't think its a waste though because you have to overspend in FA. Especially us.

There is truly no down side to bringing Romo here.

So true, we sign Romo, we going to get 2 sunday night games.

It better be week one. otherwise....you know....snap, crackle and pop goes the Romo.

who's best days are behind them?

I don't know about all that, but I like your enthusiasm

Campbell. Again, I like the signing, but FA splashes aren't typically about bargains. Still gotta draft well, and hopefully GM Tom can start doing that.

If it was coming out of your pocket there would be a downside. Pay millions to a player that probably wont even make it to week one. He couldn't make it behind the best online in the league

You obviously didn't see Campbell play last year.
I would welcome Romo.  But I would with Cousins as well.  Blake has regressed.  And Dave, Tom, and Doug can't afford another top 5 drafting in 2018.

His preseason injury was a freak injury. Can happen to anybody.

Not arguing that he doesn't have a history of injuries, but last year was freak.
