Bingo. Brady would point to the dirt stain on his skirt and get his 15 yards

Quote:There was nothing wrong with the hit, but you can bet Tom Brady draws a flag there.Brady would have drawn a flag there even if Telvin simply looked at him with bad intent.
Quote:He had the 2nd best helmet slam behind only Mr. Myers.
Quote:The picture says it all. He was clearly still in bounds, but that was never the issue. The issue was that Has was just as clearly giving himself up going out of bounds. Look at the picture. He wasn't trying to get extra yards. The ref could have easily thrown a flag here, but I like the no call.
Quote:AgreeIf Smith didn't touch him and the old fossil cut up field and gained another 25 yards, we'd be wanting Telvin's head on a platter. This is football. I'm sick and tired of people thinking it is figure skating. They've made this game sensitive enough, and if Smith gets fined it will be an outrage. It's not like he intentionally did something to injure the old museum exhibit, QB's get pushed out of bounds every single game. He was in bounds, Smith pushed him just like they're taught to do, and the old relic got hurt. So what.
At that point Hasselback gave himself up as a runner by not continuing to advance the ball and running parallel to the sideline.
Smith will probably be fined.
Quote:AgreeI doubt it.

Quote:Ouch when posters use the term "relic" and "ancient" when describing a 40 year old player.
Quote:Question: Do we know for sure that Hasselbeck threw a fit because of the hut or maybe out of frustration because he knew instantly that he had injured himself?
I've always thought Hasselbeck was a pretty stand up guy. I'd honestly be kind if surprised if he threw a hissy just for being pushed out of bounds in and of itself...
Quote:I watched the game again last night, and he was barking at our defense all the way back to the bench after they finally got the crying fit under control on our sideline.
