Basically we win all our remaining 3 games and the Colts/Texans lose 2 of their last 3 games (assuming the Texans lose to the Pats this evening).

Quote:We need the tacks to upset both Houston and Indy. We would need to win out, and essentially Indy and Houston can only win one more game after they face each other.

Whoever win the Houston-Indy game has to lose their other 2 remaining games.  Who should we pull for then?  I would argue we want Houston to win.  One of their two remaining games is against us.  So that means there is only one game out of our control.  Whereas if Indy wins, that would be 2 games out of our control.

Yeah this would be our ideal scenario.
Realistically, Its still slim. I expect Houston to win the AFC south but as I said before, You cannot deny the Jaguars scoring right now.

My in-depth analysis:

Indianapolis:

Texans - Depends all on luck. If no luck, No win by indy. If luck, Its a game.

Dolphins - Gotta assume luck is back and easy win.

Titans - Easy win.

Texans:

Patriots - Lol. L

Indy - Depends all on luck. If no luck, No win by indy. If luck, Its a game.

Titans - W

Jaguars - Questionable.

Jags: (8-8 at best)

Falcons - W

Saints - Questionable

Texans - Questionable.

If/Then scenarios:

If the Texans win against the Patriots tonight, Its unlikely the Jags can surpass them.

if the Texans lose the next 2 games/Win at titans then the Jags win their next 2, Its Texans vs. Jags for the title

Winning out gives title to either Titans/Texans.
Quote:It will come down to the last game.

Myers missing FG @ Indy....sigh

Grant fumbling vs Bucs....sigh

Marshall muffins punt @ Jets....sigh

Bortles pick 6 vs Panthers.....sigh

I forgot Wiz's snap @ TEN....sigh

If we had just 1 of those plays back.....JUST ONE PLAY....we would be sitting at 6-7 right now with 3 games to go.

If we could have 2 of those plays back, we're sitting at 7-6.

3 plays 8-5

4 plays 9-4.

If Myers makes that FG up in Indy we would have swept the Colts and eyeing a showdown for a slot in the playoffs and punch our ticket in week 17 vs Houston.
We finish 8-8, do we make the playoffs?

GoJags!
Yes.
If we somehow made the playoffs, this team would get smoked in the wild card.

No way man, Blake bortles is carrying the team on his shoulders and taking us the promised land.

Blake is inconsistent. He was a lot better in the 2nd half, and our defense just falls apart. How many times was Hilton all alone?

Honestly, its a toss up once you get there. Anything can happen, but I think we'd get smacked against the Steelers or Patriots for sure.

I don't know man. I don't want to have any faith at all in Gus, but this offense is playing as well as any Jaguar offense ever has...

No way. Dalton is out injured and Osweiler not playing well.

Jags would sneak in and Bortles would lead us past Cincy and past Denver like the 1996 Jags did to Jim Kelly and John Elway

He's the most consistent 23 year old NFL QB I've ever seen.

Manning is going to play...there's no way Denver leaves him on the bench for Osweiller

He has been playing very well, but you have to admit, the first half he stunk it up.  Atleast this time in the second half he didn't continue that trend he actually turned it around.  You can't play half a game terrible and the other lights out in a playoff game.

These silly threads again LOL

Probably, but still exciting to watch our team ascending.

And he was playing well before he got hurt?

I'm not expecting a super bowl run, just trying to ascertain our standings and if it is actually a scenario that could happen. Did you think ourJags would win the division?
