Free agency ain't cheap, but the thing about this deal is that you expect him to continue to get better, and you took him from a division rival. That's a win win.
Quote:You're welcome everyone. I decided not to renew and the team fired Gus, hired Tom, killed FA and who knows what else. I have been the problem all along.
LMBO...
NH3...
We went from have one great up and coming corner two haveing arguably the best tandem cb combo in the game for years to come. Pretty stoked on this one

He may of had only one stellar year but he finned off high draft picks to attain/retain his starting position. Did he not?

but let's give them a year and go ahead and trade em to the pats
Strengthen yourself, weaken your enemy.

This a really dumb attempt at mocking / trolling. It's not even remotely close to being in the realm of equal scenario. Step yo game up.

Hell yeah!

yessir. Sorry I'm not quite the troll I should be. One day I'll get up to your level.

I literally winced upon reading this. I hope it works out for us, for a friggin change.
Quote:About halfway through last season after that first Titans game, nope I stopped footballing. it was a real question because I didn't pay attention to the Texans. sounds like he only had one good year so he has a very small sample size.
He developed well. I think he is a solid #2
Sometimes you have to overpay to play. Coughlin even cited that yesterday. I don't mind it as long as he shows up and helps us win games. So far these three signings look to be shaping up to be very pivotal going forward. Ramsey is easily the No. 1 CB here and to have Bouye opposite of him just takes a ton of pressure off of both of them.
I am hoping we focus are attentions now to the offensive side of the football later on tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Would like to see a push for a guard, fullback and tight end at this point now to help round out this free agency class. This is starting to line up nicely though with where we might be going path wise in the draft. If you think about it. You've got your starting SS, you've got your big man in Campbell at DE/DT to move in and out and then you've got your solid cover CB in Bouye.
That no longer puts the pressure on us to address a need with the No.4 overall pick. We may not have to draft Allen or Thomas now. We may not have to draft Adams or Hooker or Lattimore to shore up the secondary. I am hoping this triggers some phone calls for Coughlin. This isn't the strongest offensive line class we've seen but if we're able to trade down a bit you can still land a premium OT or OG that will end up playing on the right side at a high level anyway. Lamp, Bolles, Ramcyzk & Robinson should all be possibilities at some point if a trade comes up.

I never troll. People are too sensitive. Just talking scenarios don't get all butt hurt over it.
He's a #1 on almost every team in the league, but Ramsey is just that good. These two are going to make teams hate us.

lol I'm not butthurt amigo, I get a kick out of your posts. I know you mean well and are pitching ideas. You just jump to insults pretty quick. Think that may be why people take it to heart. Do your thing

Yeah your right. I've been in trouble for that before. Work in process. Go Jags!

we are all here for the same reason. Go Jags!

We are the Jaguars, we pretty much have to overpay if we want anyone considered any good to sign here in FA.

Denver may have something to say about that.
Hopefully next season proves you right.
