Hi, Jaguars fans!
A battle of 2-6 AFC teams as the Jacksonville Jaguars again travel up the Atlantic Coast to play the Baltimore Ravens in the 19th all-time regular season meeting between the teams. Jaguars seek to seek their first road win in Baltimore since 1999.
Though the Ravens defeated our Jaguars 20-12 in their last meeting also played in Baltimore played last December 14, 2014. Kamar Allen blocked Bryan Anger's punt to return for an 11 return to the Jaguars end zone, and later in the third quarter, Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw a 3-yard TD pass to Owen Daniels for another Baltimore TD. Justin Tucker kicked two field goals from 22 and 33 yards, and his two PAT's to complete the Ravens scoring, while Josh Scobee kicked four field goalsfrom 53, 45, 53, and 45 yards, for the only game scoring for the Jaguars.
Jacksonville came back from a 23-22 deficit with 1:39 remaining in the fourth quarter, to defeat Baltimore at then named PSI Net Stadium back on November 28, 1999. Jaguars RB James Stewart scored a 4-yard touchdown run, followed by a two-point conversion from QB Mark Brunnell to WR Jimmy Smith, to win and clinched the game 30-23.
Jaguars also still leads the series over the Ravens 10 games to 8, and the Jags also has outscored the Ravens in the previous 18 games 392 points to 355.
Spero Dedes and former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Solomon Wilcots are also announcing the live TV game commentary for the NFL On CBS's early regional double header game, seen regionally, and locally on WJAX CBS Channel 47, live on HD.
Frank Frangie, and former Jaguars players Jeff Lageman and Tony Boselli are also announcing the live radio game commentary, on flagship stations WJXL Jax Radio 1010AM, and 92.5FM, and WGME Gator Country 99.5FM, and the Jaguars Radio Network.
Sunny and clear skies at 60 degrees is the game forecast inside M&T Bank Stadium, along with 0% precipitation, 36% humidity, and southwestern winds at 10 miles per hour for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.
