Lets be honest. The guy looks like a fat slob. Quickness was a huge reason he was so successful in Denver. I don't know if Gus has been slipping him Double Chocolate Klondike Bars but man he has blown up. As I have watched him in live games he seems average and not really getting open. He has played in 5 games and I can only recall a couple of big plays he has contributed.
He has played 5 games: 139 yards and 1 TD. Blake and Thomas have no chemistry.
I really hope I am wrong and his game blows up. So far ugh!

Even Jerry porter had better stats.

He's missed most of the year thus far with a variety of ailments. Porter was just bad, and everyone knew it the second he signed.
I won't lie, though. I did wonder how much of Thomas' production was due to the Manning effect, and would have much preferred Charles Clay.

Another quality thread by jaguarmvp. Would have never guessed there was an ice cream remark in there.

Thomas' issues are multiple.
1. He isn't being used correctly imo. He needs those middle passes but those have a higher injury rate.
2. He's had a variety pack of annoying injuries
3. He isn't in the best football shape as a result of #2
4. His snaps are limited
At this point, They need to just use some excuse to throw him on IR with Lee and lets get Marks, Lee, and Thomas all back fresh ready to go for 2016.

Well so far, it looks that way.

I've seen Julius wide open on a few occasions and Blake just missed him. I'm not too worried about it.
Oh and Foolius Thomas likes ice cream! LOLz!1

Excellent point. There have been a ton of instances where Blake missed a wide open Thomas. Better field view and progressions is always terrible for Years 1 and 2 QBs. It needs to be on his to-do list this offseason however.

Quote:Is he a product of Manning? Probably.
I don't know, he had the injuries, then timming problem...
but I guess its hard to argue with your statement when JT has performed the way he has so far this year.

I think he's a good RB and I'm glad we've got him but he seems really stand-offish. I'm not sure if anybody noticed this but late in the game they split him out wide and he was on the outside with ARob. BB5 went deep and Robinson came down with a great catch over the defender and TJ was right next to him. What did TJ do? Just turned around and walked back to the huddle. No congratulations, no high five, nothing.
Dude just seems like he's not the best teammate. I know he's not paid to be a cheerleader but almost every player on the field gets fired up after a big play and they congratulate each other in same way or another. In my mind, that builds team morale. He just seems indifferent to his teammates.
Again, not a big deal but I just wondered if anybody else noticed this. I re-winded the play two or three times to see if I was missing something. Check it out if you can and let me know if you agree. It was just weird.

Julius just played his best game of the season.
He finally showed up this week and was balling all game long. I hope he keeps it up.

Same attitude that all big name offensive skill position FAs seem to have whenever they come here. O-line only from now on.
