Quote:I was thinking this but his hand should not prevent his ability to run...
Unless he is holding back - which then points to his work ethic...
I hope it's just a slump because his first game back had a pretty nice stat line - 7 catches/78 yards/1 TD.
He suffers a groin strain as well - so ...
Who knows?
Quote:Someone mentioned he looked "chubby" in another thread. I remember watching an after game locker room video and you got gus in the middle and all these dudes with six packs and big arms and Julius was there in the frame and I'm thinking, "why does he look out of shape." Not to mention the look he had gave a "I'm here because I have to be" look. Like he just wasn't into it.
also, he doesn't look like a brother. He looks like that guy in the movie "soul man"
Dude looks fat and slow. Such a disappointment.

He wouldn't even shake a reporters hand with it as recently as 3 weeks ago. He probably let himself get out of shape with the surgery and time off. It doesn't speak well to his work ethic if that is the case, but like I said, at least there would still be hope. My biggest gripe with him has been the drops more than being slow - which again comes back to the hand.
He's fat... And he's being coached by a (Insult Removed) that doesn't really push players... So he's gotten fatter...
A head coach that knows what he's doing gets the best out of players like JT80. Right now, can you blame him? He broke his finger, got 2 months off, wasn't really pushed hard, and then when he came back hasn't really been implemented into the offense.
Some may blame the GM. But the GM can only bring in the players. Clearly this player can play. But he got lazy and fat, and our head coach can't figure out how to motivate him to get into football shape and play hard.
He is clearly out of shape

Lol. I had to google that real quick. I can see the resemblance.
did anybody here spend 90 bux on a julius thomas jersey? lolol

True, but I think it goes both ways...
Let's hope JT80 did not come here for a payday because this is a cutthroat league. Players have to constantly be training, even in time of injury, because it's a next-man-up league.
He should have the mindset of keeping up with himself anyways...
JT is like Damon Wayne's from the Great White Hype when he got fat and overweight when he was fighting the Irish Guy.

If I did, I'd return it and use that 90 bucks so Julius can have an hour or so with a personal trainer.
Quote:He looked pretty decent pre-injury. We know the hand was worse than originally reported. I'm hoping that has something to do with it and we'll see a better version of him next season or late into this season. It doesn't look good, but if there is any hope, it would be that.
Pre-Injury? He was literally hurt on the second play of our first preseason game...
Quote:He is a product of Manning, D. Thomas, Eddie Royal and Co.
Opposing defenses had too many players to check when he was in Denver.
Not saying he can't produce like he did.... I certainly hope he does because I can't take another F/A bust....
They have AR, Hurns and Walters to go with him which is more than enough. It's the way they line him up. 3 pt stance on the line. Get the man upright and let a LB cover him, he should light it up then possibly draw doubleteam free up someone else. Why is it us fans know this and would do it but a man that it's his job to call unstoppable plays is blind to this and has a losing record. Also how did we score in what seem to be less than a minute but can't score in most quarters or from inside the twenty unless it's starting on our own twenty

That conversation exchange made me laugh out loud. Kudos.
None of our TEs are being used. I actually think its on Bortles. He's comfortable with the Allens and Walters.

True, but let's not understate that, at the time when JT80 was in Denver, their receiving corps was SUBSTANTIALLY better than what our receiving unit is right now.
As much as I want to be a homer, I'm sure opposing defenses shifted their defenses more towards Thomas and Co. than they do with ours.

LOL! That's funny right there! We should all send him a personal trainer gift certificate to send him a message. He's a fatty boom ba latty...
No more expensive FAs on offense outside of the o-line from now on. Company policy

I can understand where you're coming from so by next year maybe our wr will get the same treatment especially if marquise hammy can ever get on the field.
