Back on the bottom in the division. Yeah

Quote:This is my problem with Bortles, he thinks he is a gunslinger well there are only a few who have been successful in doing that, and they were on way better teams. I think it falls on coaching, we have to get that out of him. That damn fumble really hurt us because then we had to play for the TD instead of a FG. He is talented, and we have some young studs, but it will be wasted yet another year

He's gotta learn when to pull the trigger. Without that gunsliner mentality, we don't get that last TD. But That last INT heave is a 4th down desperation throw, not on 1st down with a minute left

congrats to mike mularkey

LOL, you think our coach can out coach John Harbaugh?  You're drunk...

Isn't that kind of the same thing in the AFCS?
The refs did us in over and over...i agreed with how Gus used the TO....Bortles has a hero complex...Marshall is a rookie trying to make a play.

How is this loss on Gus? I think you people are just used to blaming him..
Putting Marshall back there was just as stupid as running Gerhart 4 times from the 1/2 yard line..

Stupid Bozo
Can't stand gus, but the players lost this one. The holding on Parnell, Bortles holding onto the ball too long and fumbling, and that atrocious muffed punt.

The play on which he threw the challenge flag... that looked like a catch to me. The TD on House? Not only a push off, but the ball hit the ground.

Jaguars beat themselves again. Gus isn't the guy to take this team to the next level, but it isn't all his fault today.
Play offs were never really a consideration for this years team except by those who live in lollipop land. However.... even though we blew another seemingly winnable game due to self inflicted gunshot injuries to the foot... we 'should' win a few more games; it just so happened that this one wasn't one of the more likely ones for us to win. I still think we can get at least one win from the tacks. Houston, Indy, NO, Baltimore, and San Diego all seem like possible 'winnable' games. The only one that I rule out at this point is Atlanta.

Of course, one can't really count on a sure thing from this team because... hey... 'we're Jaguars'.

Gus has shown again and again in 2 plus seasons that he doesn't prepare a team well for a season or game and that his in game management is not good.  Want an example from this game?  Why did Marshall field the muffed punt and not Walters?  Walters had done it all game with no issues.  You've got to know your players and manage the game to win.  You have to put your players in a position to win.

Yet the refs were trying so hard to give it to the Jets. I guess someone didn't get the memo.

Walters is sure handed...  Why worry about anything other than getting BB5 the ball and making sure he understands there's plenty of time...

But no, let's switch things up, because we're desperate.  It's just terrible coaching.  Like everything Bradley does.  He's in waaaaaay over his head.

He's the dumbest freakin' coach in the NFL.  And it's not even close.
The tacks won? against the saints?

my head hurts..... Wallbash

Ok. I read you. Dont put the rookie in to possibly make a play, put the sure hands guy in to just field the punt. But what about what Gus did right? No one ever post about that.

Over the 3 years, we start the season slow.  We lose after the bye.  And we fail to adjust after the 1st half...  That's your head coach, folks.

But Shad is gonna hold on to him for a while.  As long as we fire this loser after week 17, I don't care.

But let's face it, this dude sucks at being a head coach.  He has no idea how to be a winner in the NFL.  Just let it go, ya'll.  We'll never be winners with that tool chewing tobacco and bending over with his hands on his knees.  He has no idea what the heck is going on out there.  He's an idiot.  The all time worst NFL head coach I've seen.

And I've witnessed the Mularkey era of Jaguar football...

Well, there you go! There's always a tiny silver lining around every humongous dark cloud. Ahh.. but of course, I really wouldn't go and bet the family jewels on us beating the ravens; let's keep it real.

This isn't exactly the time or place...but when you're talking about 1 of only 32 head coach openings in the world...Gus isn't even close to being qualified.  That's the point.  If you're wanting to point out "positives" then you've drank too much teal kool aid my friend.
