Nice to see the censorship in full effect. Did the truth hurt someone's feelings.

Step up to the plate and justify exactly what deemed my post being removed.

I doubt I'll hear back about that. Truth hurts, apparently.

I did it. Nothing you wrote was the "truth". And there isn't anyone on here that would dare to call me a liberal snowflake, so you can't say that is the reason it was removed.
Maybe you don't check the sex offender lists of people in your area.

I hope you feel very comfortable sharing your restrooms, locker rooms and showers with a bunch of strange men just because they're feeling "a little feminine" that day.

In case you haven't kept up, that's what the sickos are wanting. Sex offenders don't wear shirts or badges that say that they are. And giving them unfettered access to places of the opposite gender is exactly what is being fought for by liberals.

Now, if you don't think that's sick, sick, sick, I don't know what to tell you.

Quote:Sure, that's what I want. Rolleyes  It's funny how my wanting to be left alone is equated with slavery, it's like you have no other argument except that one card. I have no desire to own other people, nor the desire to tell them what to do with their lives. I don't want to tell you who you can or can't marry, who you must or shall not associate with, which god or any god you should worship, what to do with your money or your time...none of it. I simply want to be free from interference in how I run my own life as pertains to those matters. I want what's best for me and for you, and that's for me to stay out of your life and you to stay out of mine. I don't need you and you shouldn't need me, if you do then that isn't my problem.

Quote:When you result to hyperbole about wanting to own slaves you lose all credibility your better than that Adam.

You can call it hyperbole if you wish, but it made the point. And it's not total hyperbole - I assume you both know enough American history to realize that these "oh please, I just want to be left alone" and "I should be able to do whatever I want with my property" are practically word for word what was used by plantation owners and others who were anti-democratic.

The point is - these woe is me, they're coming to get me claims are the real hyperbole. In a democratic society governed by laws we are not allowed to "be left alone". We have to deal with the body politic, like it or not - even though some prefer to live in an authoritarian state where the decisions are made for you and life is so much "simpler".

They're already getting you. Our prisons are full, our regulation voluminous, our taxes exorbitant, and our political class out of control. You have a law about how much water your toilet can use per flush and another about who has the right use it. We require a birth certificate to open a bank account in order to fight terrorism but dont require one to vote. We are not permitted to negotiate our employment terms or how we finance our retirement or health care without government there to tell us what we must do. Marx was certainly right about restricting freedom one generation at a time, sad to see so many yearn for the chains of authoritarianism disguised as equality.

My man. You have some serious issues.

You have no clue what your speaking about. Yea there are sickos all over the world but guess what, you have been sharing a locker room and restroom with them since the day you were born. Liberals aren't fighting for sex offenders to go into any bathroom they want.

You just have a very narrow minded point of view and it shows on this board a lot.

Well - you've certainly hit many of the right-wing talking points. Breitbart much?

But they are just opinions - and shaky ones at that. Prisons are full? Talk to your side - you know, the "law and order" folks. Taxes exorbitant? Compared to who/what? Political class out of control? Your president is leading the charge. And your party is in control of all three branches, in case you haven't noticed. Need a bc to vote? You buying the false news accounts about voter fraud? You get your news via Trump tweets? Not a good idea. And I doubt Marx said any such thing, but it sounds good and meets your needs. And yeah, what he "said" in the 1880s certainly is relevant now. You're really reaching.

You can choose to be as afraid as you want. Just be careful you don't drift into Dakota territory and start looking for monsters under the bed. Liberal Alert! OMG!

And why so pessimistic? I thought the Age of Trump was going to make us the Shining City on a Hill, or some such silliness. Chin up and all that.

Quote:The problem is there was never really a problem. You or a woman/girl in your family may have well shared a public restroom with a transgendered person and never knew it. Unfortunately, zealots on both sides of the issue have made it a problem.
There was a problem as soon as some special interest group of minority decided they were special enough to warrant extra attention.

You presume too much. I'm not a Republican and didn't vote for Trump. I oppose right wing over reach just as much as left wing, though, in truth, there's not a whole bunch of difference between our two main political parties. They both want the same thing and both need to be opposed for that reason.

A lot of that goes on here... lol

Don't worry. The government is scaling back their authoritarian treatment of us peons. Or not ...

This brings up another question: TSA policy is for a person of the same sex to perform the pat down grope. What about a woman who identifies as a man? Should a male TSA agent be groping a woman who thinks she's a man?

What if the TSA employee identifies as a woman but is a man and the person getting on a flight is a woman who identifies as a man but still dresses like a woman[Image: 844.jpg]........
Still deleting posts. It's really sad when you have to delete your own as an official board admin just to save face. Pathetic.

I answered your question, and you delete it along with the question you posted in the first place.

Why don't you commies just come out with it and call it a liberal progressive forum instead of a political one. You are so one sided about what you allow to stand and do not it's laughable. I have had more of a dozen PM"s from others who feel the exact same way. Just call a spade a spade.

AND STOP HIDING MY [BLEEP] POSTS IF THEY DON'T VIOLATE THE TOS.

Can we take a step back and be reasonable for just one minute?

What are we really talking about here?  Women who identify as men dress as men and look like men.   Men who identify as women dress like women and look like women.   If we mandate that women who identify as men must use the ladies' room, then we will have people who look like men walking into the ladies' room.  And if we mandate that men who identify as women must use the men's room, then we will have people who look like women walking into the men's room.  Is that what people really want?

It doesn't bother me either way, but I don't think people realize what they're insisting on.

I don't mind it being decided at the state level.  It's too confusing to say we understand exactly what we're doing and there ought to be a federal law about it.   The states are the perfect place to try things out and see how they work before we decide if we want to make this a federal thing.

Regarding the highlighted statement, I can say that in my one experience when my girlfriend accidentally followed me into the men's room, there were a lot of men shouting encouragement. So based on the one anecdotal evidence I have, the answer is yes. Smile

The bigger problem is that any man can claim to be transgender, appearance or not, and then walk into a women's room if it were a legal requirement. And that would also apply to public locker rooms. Would you want a law requiring a man to be allowed to enter a woman's shower with your daughter? Ideally the private business owner would be allowed make the rules, but there's still a matter of government facilities.

Maybe the solution is to have all people who claim to be transgender use the men's room.

You're really getting angry about a message board you said you don't care about.

No one is forcing you to post. If you hate it, you can leave.
This is still being debated?

Quote:There is no right to vote or marry nor should there be.

Or right to privacy for that matter.
Quote:I think your confused I'll start with marriage, there's no right to marry. It's a religious practice at core and has nothing to do with the state. The unconstitutional temporary income tax is the only reason the state even plays into the equation. Being free to do something doesn't make it a constitutionally protected right.

As for voting the Constitution does not establish a right to vote, there are federal protections as to why you can't participate in elections but there's no right to vote.

A right as in the manor me and jib are speaking is an action that is protected specifically in the construction, the right to assemble peacefully and demonstrate the right to bear arms the freedom of press and so on....

The 15th and 19th Amendments say otherwise

It was also perpetuated by overzealous paranoids on the right who presume transgenders are by definition child molesters. We have a shining example of such willful ignorance right here in this thread.
