Dude, they are a military contractor. If there is anything that they know how to do, it's how to make something new for twice the price. C'mon now!

They tried, but most of InCom's personnel was defected to the Rebellion at the first sign of the Empire taking over the company taking most the know-how with them as well as quite a few prototypes.

Guys, I was so excited to score dead center seats at the best IMAX in the city for this, but someone just pointed out to me that as I'm going to see the 1020pm showing there's a real chance some poopoo head could spoil the movie as we're entering the theatre. WHAT DO I DO??

Probably but it has Harison Ford in it so its going to be good.  Disney owns all the rights and it like most Disney movies it wont be bad...
