Quote:If McCray was our best cornerback he would play. Bradley made the switch after quickly figuring out he is better than Gratz. Obviously McCray is not our best cornerback this season.
um, coaches have never been wrong by playing the wrong guy?
Quote:McCray was the best CB last year by far and now he can't even get on the field. Why?

House paid lots of money and needs justifying
when is the trade deadline? maybe we can get a few vets in

Never.  Trust the coaches.  We are kindergarteners.

That's why we're 8-30 under the Gus regime.  They know better than we do.

HAHAHAH and this coaching staff knows what they're doing?
I don't think McCray would do too well in this soft zone stand 15 yards away from the WR defense. Heck, i doubt even Revis would do well.
Quote:Cyprien was injured. Brown was not benched, just not needed to start anymore.

Cyp starting while Brown being benched is garbage
It all makes sense. Gus is doing what he's done the last two years, developing the team for next year. He knows what he has in McCray, so he's playing Gratz and House to see how good they are.

That's also why Alualu was playing ahead of Bennett at 3T, and why Cyprien is starting.

see Revis in Tampa
Maybe McCray doesn't buy into all of the "get better and compete" nonsense Gus no doubt spews to the team on a daily basis.

Perhaps he wants no part of the buffoon's ice cream dance parties and has been benched as a result.

makes sense, and start Slowby
If I remember correctly before the first preseason game there was a big spiel about starting playmaking corners?? I think thats why hes playing Colvin instead of the solid Mccray. Not that its worked out.

Can't think of a single play Colvin has ever made.
Odrick played 57 snaps yesterday, although you’d be excused if you thought he played five. He didn’t record a single QB pressure, didn’t make a single defensive stop—he didn’t even record a tackle. He was basically invisible on the field, aside from one batted pass.

Cyprien had an equally tough time in coverage as he did in run defense yesterday. He allowed four catches on five targets for 65 yards and a touchdown, which led to a -2.3 grade. In the run game, he missed two tackles and was generally blocked out of the play

he pick up a fumble recovery last year and ran it back for a TD, then all of a sudden he was our best corner by some. I would rather see Gratz start over Colvin if he has improved like Gus said. Colin should be 4th on the cb depth chart imo
bradleys first or this season is top 2

Now I can see clearly. LOL!

The similarity is Alualu is our best DT this season. Heck, probably is our best player on the team.
I think both Colvin and House came close to getting a pick once but thats about it. I don't blame the CBs for the lack of INTs, more the scheme they're stuck playing.
