I can't quote for some reason so this post is directed to Trav. After 15 years or so of getting crap about attendance from uf fans, it seems reasonable that FSU fans would respond they way they did when uf attendance started to wane. And did so even during an 11-2 Muschamp season (I believe that was the record). And as all good rivalries have done, you'll respond in a predictable manner and then we will also respond back in a predictable manner and so on and so on and so on. By the way, 6-0...

Just because you stuck your foot in your mouth first, you'll be on the left. Don't our fan bases look so cute!?!?! :teehee:

Quote:I can't stand when people say that Tallahassee is a pain to get to. It's not like you're driving through crazy city traffic. It's clear roads and the commute from the larger cities like Tampa takes not much longer than it does to get to Gainesville.
It's a pain to get to in terms of distance. Most alumni live far away; a big chunk live in south Florida over 300 miles away. Not having big cities to tap into plus the long distance for fans I think is the big reason. There is 1 city within a 150 mile radius of Tallahassee that has a population over 100,000 and its Gainesville. Gainesville has 5 cities within 150 miles with populations over 100,000.

Hey, imagine that. I've told people that getting to Tallahassee is a pain for that reason. I was told that was just an excuse by Trav and co. so it could fit their little agenda.
Gainesville is much more centrally located, and has more major cities around it like you said, which makes it easier to make day trips for games than Tallahassee does.

No different from some who threw out excuses as to why they wouldn't get Jags season tickets. At the end of the day, it is still an excuse.

So three other people in this thread have said the same thing I did way back when, yet it's still an excuse because you make it an excuse to fit your agenda.

Funny how it wasn't so tough to get to over the past two years...but suddenly it is again. Just sayin...

Just sayin...Funny how all gator fans can do is talk trash about some empty seats in a stadium when their team isn't performing on the field. This whole thread is a joke and a weak attempt at gator fans trying to make themselves feel better after a loss and two laughable seasons under muschamp. That gator stadium sure was full the last two seasons....O wait..that's right.

We're going to run out of feet at this pace.

It was damn sure more full than it was for the past decade or so over in Tallahassee...and if you try to say it wasn't, you're either lying to me or to yourself, or you havn't been paying attention all these years.
I love how REALLY defensive y'all are being about this. it's really interesting to watch!

Shouldn't you be explaining to me again how hard it is to get to Tallahassee?

Shouldn't you be complaining about the Seminoles?

The point I made a while ago was that it's more difficult to do a day trip to Tallahassee for a game than it is going to Gainesville. A large portion of our fan base comes from Tampa and surrounding areas down south. Do you really think people want to drive all that way, go to a game, and drive back home after when FSU plays a weak opponent? That's why a trip to Tallahassee for a noon game can be difficult.

Just going to throw this out there. What does it matter if stadium x has less fans than stadium y on Saturdays?

It's typical gator fan though....my teams not doing well and darn it...those Seminoles just keep winning...hmmm what can I do now....O I'll make a meaningless comment about a couple seats not being filled on tv . You gator fans....what are we gonna do with you little brother.

Naw...I'm okay, y'all are complaining enough for the both of us!

Don't know, you might wanna ask the noles fans on here that tried to make it a big deal over the past two years.
