Quote:Not really how it works... but I'm not really surprised some here don't understand. I am dealing with people with FSU educations (or posers who didn't go to college).

Now now Badger, that's not how the lyrics to Rocky Top goes..
Quote:I really don't understand all the conference love.. If my team sucks, I'm not gonna ride the back of my conference to make myself feel better about my team sucking..

It's definitely weird, but that's the SEC mouth breathers for you.
Quote:What's the Harbaugh effect?

The team he has is basically the same players as last year but they are playing with ferocity now. Better coaching is showing it's impact already.

We're falling back on education? I assume you went to UF? What year did you graduate?
TCU vs Texas Tech is a great game right now

It's been explained before on here. Your opinions trump the reasoning though. It's easier to bash I guess.

I went to a year at UNF!

Anyways, go vols right?

With the playoffs, it really doesn't matter. One team goes from each conference. The argument is pointless, but go vols.
I have no horse in the SEC vs ACC trash talking going on here. I think that strength of schedule is very important. When it comes to ranking and seeding (in both football and basketball) perception is crucial. Perception is largely influenced by strength of schedule which is directly related to who your opponents have beaten.

I'm sure I'm not the first person on here to explain that, though.

Your excuses are just as bad as Badgers..

It really isn't. Especially with playoffs now.

Listen, when you lose to SEC team it's still a win. BRILLIANT!

Bwahahahahahaha

How much would you be willing to bet me that not all 4 conferences are represented in the playoffs the next three straight seasons?

I went to Stetson. I'm not a hardcore UF fan however. I'm a casual fan and I lose 0 sleep when they lose. Very different from the Nole homers here who literally cry when they lose.

If the SEC gets two teams in than they will at least have an argument.

Translation: UF sucks right now, so I'm only a casual fan.

I don't need to defend my fandom. So you are a better non school going fan because you don't get upset when you lose? More power to ya. I guess that td run by Tennessee didn't bother you at all...

That was the most hypocritical and ridiculous argument I've ever heard from a so so gator can.

You didn't answer my question. Your premise that strength of schedule is irrelevant seems to be based on the idea that the 4 conferences are all guaranteed representation in the playoff. So I'll ask again: How much would you be willing to bet that this doesn't happen at least one time in the next three seasons?
