Quote:Jags fans just can't stand for any other team to draft someone decent. They live in #becausejaguars land and try to drag everyone else into their black hole of perpetual suckdom. Sorry fellas....you'll be watching #8 torch your [BAD WORD REMOVED] team for years to come. With all due respect of course lol. If I end up being wrong I will be the first to eat a big bite of crow, but I don't think that's going to happen.
This is a Jags forum, and its you idiots coming in here to bash our quarterback! So don't act surprised when it blows up in your face.
Quote:Bortles fumbled into the air with his own endzone to his back. Did you forget about that? Here is something that is sure to arouse you: Mariota has bigger hands than Bortles. So the relevant question for you becomes, what type of nail polish brings out his eyes?
Someone posts something negative about your hero, and you retaliated with homophobic comments? What are you 12? How the hell is this idiot not suspended?
Quote:Regardless. 4 TD and 0 INT is a pretty damn good day.

I'd still bet money that Mularkey isn't the HC after the season is over.

Kudos to MM... You're right...

I'm not going to pull a baconator and completely ignore reality. If I was a tack fan, I'd be cautiously optomistic about Marcus. He's clearly done a great job as a rookie compared to what the expectation was. He's got a chance to be a Russell Wilson type QB. He certainly seems to have a stable head on his shoulders, unlike RGIII and Keapernick... So there are some positives.
Quote:I still don't understand why we are arguing like only either blake or Marcus can be a good QB. Aren't they both allowed to be good. Stop bashing each other. You are just making yourselves look stupid. Blake and Marcus are both making a lot lf mistakes. Those gifs look a lot like plays blake has made. There's also a lot of good plays by both QBs. There seems to be nasty hate between the titans and jags posters for no reason.

Not much animosity among Titans fans towards Jags fans to be honest. I think the anger towards Titans fans stems mostly from Fisher's comments about Jacksonville being the Titans' second home field and the 1999 season when the Jags lost only 3 games all year....each to the Titans.

I'll be honest, ever since I've been a Jaguars fan, the tacks haven't been all that good. I just don't like anyone that isn't a Jag fan.., So I pretty much hate everyone.

But to me, the clot fans I've met have been the most insufferable.
poor HIGH SCORE

but i understand. It's tough to admit something that you're so passionate about.

but at least try

RGIII was good too...

Oh wait.

Titans suck

That is all

That's how you know it's true.

Thursday will be here soon. We'll see who is the king of suck.
Mariota struggled today but don't sleep on him. He's having a pretty good rookie season and i'd be surprised if he dosen't throw a few TD's against us. Hopefully can force him into some rookie mistakes and our passing attack gets back to normal.

Mariota makes me nervous. I hope we pound him into the turf on Thursday, but if the teams get the good coaching and surrounding talent, this division is going to be the league's best for several years because of the QBs, including MM. Seems like Houston is going to be the only team missing one.

They (Texans) deserve their fate.

To get a better feel for where he's at now, here's his number totals for October and November...

4 starts (1-3), 86 of 128 (67.2%) for 962 yards (7.5 YPA, 240.5 yds/gm), 5 TDs and 4 INTs for a 89.4 qb rating;

----- 8 sacks for 52 yards lost; 11 rushes for 76 yards (6.9 ypc,19 yds/gm); 4 fumbles with 2 lost

What's impressive is his completion percentage. Beyond that, he's just ok. Watching him you start to understand that he's able to keep this completion percentage up because he doesn't throw deep.

So, the Jags play press Thursday and make him beat us deep?

I'd agree, but Gratz.

This Panther game was the 4th game of MerryTurnoveriota's I have seen. It's clear that as of right now, he's a rookie QB that is asked to do very little in terms of the passing game. He's asked to be a game manager.

With that said, they have a really good running game, and their Defense is stout.

It's gonna be a tough game for us, and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us, in spite of MM, not because of him.

I bet the spread is 3.5 or maybe 4.5 this week.

With that said, I think the Jags need to score 24 and pray that the D can hold.

Edit: I think it's also important to mention that he can be quite effective on the quick slant, 1st read plays. We really need to cover against that. But the ravens took advantage of those plays at times as well. If it wasn't for a couple drops against gratz, there were quite a few quick post slants that the reciever was wide open.

MM could pick us apart with those types of plays if we aren't careful...

Yea, I'm not as confident as some that this is a win. Tennessee has enough pieces to steal a win. They haven't played as bad as their record indicates. Should be interesting. Go Jags
Marcus Motorola has yet to win at home. Maybe he isn't used to avoiding the potholes, raccoon pelts and empty Skoal cans that litter the nashville dump/stadium. Or maybe he just doesn't like country music.

As much as I want another W on Thursday, when have we ever played press consistently under Bradley?

The short passing game has consistently beat this D due to how far off our DBs play. It's unfortunate that the short passing game is what MM is good at. Maybe we'll get a game plan that focuses on stopping the run and short passes as well as simultaneously confusing a rookie QB.
