I think that's more of a comment on what makes an individual player great, not what makes a team great.
In reality gene wasnt bad and neither is dave. The natural state of all nfl teams is mediocrity. Stability and winning means over achieving on a large scale.

WE are not even average. Average would be around .500 and competing. This team is well below average like pathetic level.
I'm not convinced DC is garbage. Gene Smiff clearly was. I think DC has gotten better each year as a GM (althought I'm not saying he isn't a problem). However, when the HC sets the bar so low for the players because he commends them for sucking, I'm not sure what we can expect. Low expectations breed low performances.

Neither has produced even mediocre records. But I haven't seen Dave draft a 3rd round punter yet, so he gets the tie breaker until further notice.

You have to ignore pre-seasons. The Jags picked up where they left off last season and are now 7-26 under GB. What other facts would you like? Would you get to keep your job if you had a 21% success rate?
Our leaders are stupid. Our coaches are stupid. Other team's coaches are much smarter and are sending us their bad players. Why pay them when they know the Jags stupid coaches will do it instead? And that's what's happening right now whether you like it or not!
We need to build a wall around Everbank to keep all the bad players out. Trump will build that wall and make Jim Irsay pay for it. And if he refuses, then Trump will look him in the eye and say "Jim....ya fired!"

I'm as dissapointed as anyone after today's debacle, but I think the offense has a chance with Thomas and Lee returning, imo Allen Robinson has to sit until his shoulder or whatever it is bugging him is healed, he's turning into a Reggie Williams body catcher. Where's Blackmon when you need him.....
