QB - Jaguars

RB - Remains to be seen.

TE - Jaguars, even with Thomas ruled out.

WR - Lean towards the Jaguars, but can go either way.

OL - Panthers only because the Jaguars' O-line is not proven.

DL - Almost a push, but the nod goes to the Panthers.  They probably have a better defense against the run.

LB - Hard to judge, I'll call this a push.  See DL.

DB - Hard to judge again and call this a push.

ST - Push, no significant difference.

It's hard to come up with a real answer to a question like this.

Shows as a very evenly matched game by my estimation, but QB makes most of the difference, and while Cam is regressing Blake is ascending, and that's why the Jaguars should win.
QB Panthers

RB Panthers until proven otherwise

WR Jags

TE Panthers

OL Jags

DL Panthers

LB Panthers

DB Jags

ST No Idea

what makes Cam regressing?

Good question, most agree he's looked better every year.
Quote:what makes Cam regressing?

He's thrown for less yards than the prior year during each of his four years in the league. He started with 4051 as a rookie and last season threw for 3127, and it's pretty representative of how he's played. He's not an ascending guy so far.

your TE and LB are clearly wrong. Olsen>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lewis

and Carolina probaly has the best LB core in the league along with Bal.
Jags across the board, obviously

Cam isn't regressing, but he is very `07 David Garrard-esque over his 4 years with the Panthers. At this point in his career you know what you get with him for the most part and BB is just tapping into his potential ceiling(year 2-3). I see these guys having similar numbers at year 4 in their careers though. I like Jacksonville in a low scoring game though.
QB - Carolina

RB - Even

TE - Carolina

WR - Jacksonville

OL - Jacksonville

DL - Carolina

LB - Carolina

DB - Jacksonville

ST - Jacksonville

It might not match your perception going off of what you hear from pundits on ESPN, but Cam in 2014 had his lowest yardage, lowest TD total, lowest YPA, lowest passer rating, and his second lowest completion percentage of his four years. You can believe he's staying the same or getting better, but his own career performance doesn't show it.
At this very moment

QB - Car (If Bortles progresses throughout the season, I'd say he is the better passer. Bortles can run pretty good, but I don't think anyone scrambles better than Cam.)
RB - Jax ( TJ Yeldon, Denard Robinson, Gerhart and Pierce are all going to see carries and stay fresh)
TE - Jax (Yes, Olsen is an elite TE that is better individually, but we have more depth with Marcedes, Harbor, and Jacobs. Individually, if Thomas was playing he's the better play-maker.)
WR - Jax (I think Allen Robinson and Hurns are better than Ginn and Philly Brown.)
OL - Car (Our LT is a liability)

DL - Car (Marks will probably be out, Fowler ACL, Branch is out.)
LB - Car (If Luke wasn't playing i'd say Jax because of Telvin Smith and Paul Posluszny.)
DB - Jax ( Aaron Colvin, Demetrius McCray and Davon House are very promising. Shutdown OBJ and Antonio Brown. Norman is good, but the rest is iffy for you guys.)

ST - Jax (Corey Grant is an UDFA and has Jeff Demps speed. Look for him in the return game)

I'll add that the QB nod goes to Carolina for now, though I do believe Blake to be the better QB, it's another "remains to be seen"

so you would give us the edge over Sea at TE because we have more depth? Lol
I'm not sure how anyone can put their o line as better than ours. Even if their gimpy center does play, the majority of their o line is mediocre

You have to consider the OC change that brought about a philosophical change. Rod Chudzinski ran a very aggressive vertical attack offense that cashed in on big plays. With Smith, Shockey and Olsen Cam rewrote the rookie passing records. Ron wanted a heavier dose of running to rest the D and control TOP. Chud wasn't really willing to do that, was widely criticized by the players and was hired away after Cam's second season.

Panthers hired from within, unfortunately, and promoted QB coach Mike Shula. New GM cut Steve Smith, All Pro LT Jordan Gross retired, as did his running mate LG. Shula runs a very bland offense that relies on the run. Last year Cam started off really well until the wheels fell off the HS level OL and he was beat up.

Cam is learning how to win, not just put up gaudy stats. Oh what I wouldn't do to pair Cam and this defense with a competent OC.

Cam is not on the decline, we wouldn't have given him a 100 million dollar contract if he was. Gettleman didn't draft him and could have dumped him if he wanted to, but he locked him up instead.
