I don't think him complaining about this team not caring about winning would rub someone like Coughlin the wrong way, actually I think it would be the opposite. However, the midseason reports by Josina Anderson that included quotes bashing Bortles (with validity or not) from an unnamed veteran offensive player had been used to winning would definitely get someone in Coughlin's crosshairs.

Im trying to look at it from a glass half full perspective. He missed the first 4 this season with a broken hand, then played the rest of the season and started every game. The year before that he only missed 2 games and started every other. Looks like his first year in Miami he missed like 7 but thats the most he ever missed. He definitely had a couple bad breaks from injuries, and I wont disagree that hes not injury prone. But too be fair, he is a good player and does play most of the season. Looking at his track record, its seems he has a tough time staying healthy for a full 16 games, but does play most of the time .

I dont mind his age or the past injuries because he proved he can play... After all the failed linemen weve drafted, i feel like thats one part of the team too important to wait for guys to develop or never develop.. I guess what im trying to say is, keep age and experience on the oline and stay young everywhere else..

It's a deep draft for tight ends. I dont think they used Julius correctly but he wasn't what I thought he would be. Very soft after the catch.
I'm hoping they draft either fournette or OJ Howard with the first pick. Which ever one blows up the combine the most

Ramczyk is the best LT in the draft. How is that a bad decision? The bad decision is bringing in an old, injury prone Branden Albert with no backup plan when he inevitably gets hurt.

Right there is the problem: bad offensive line picks give us no depth at LT. Branden Albert can play LG and Kelvin Beachum is strictly a LT. So the trade would make sense if we also decided to keep Beachum for the LT job and acquired Albert to be our LG.
We drafted Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton together. Britton never played with Luke Joeckel.

I definitely disagree. Albert is a former pro-bowler and a higher priced player at a premium position. I don't see Julius Thomas being worth that much more where they're gonna throw in a draft pick for a guy who's done nothing for us consistently.
I'll be happy for sure, but it's not gonna happen boss man.

Not true. Beachum was praised for his pass protection in Pittsburgh just like he was here.

It may be a case where it's only considered tampering if the Dolphins objected to the talks.
We should pull the trade after this and hope that we have showed him enough that he'd sign here when they release him
