Quote:Makes you wonder what ingredients they use...
Speaking from personal experience from the company I work for...when you buy most products in bulk, you receive discounts you will never normally get.
Well obviously...

But 1.50? Love to see the quality of those ingredients. It's hard to get petfood much cheaper
This is the point at which I bring up Taco Bell's infamous "36% meat" incident, in which various chemical fillers, flavor enhancers, preservatives, colorants and sand were found in their "taco meat filling".

That was found to be false. Its more like 88% meat and 12% "other". (Which still makes you wonder.)

That doesn't say it's false. It only says Taco Bell's website, posted AFTER the rumor, now claims 88%. It's still possible that their recipe called for 36% meat and that was changed after the truth was revealed. Note that they don't sell tacos 5 for $1 any more. Smile

It was found to be "false" after the fact, though. At the time of the incident, Taco Bell's website only said that they "start with 100% beef". It's almost a given that they quickly and quietly changed their recipe, then insisted that it was made like that from the very beginning.

You could probably get a better meal in prison

Well, prison inmates are coddled.
It's OK for Taco Bell to hijack this thread.

Maybe in Tijuana

Naw... eggs are for lunch or dinner.  Beans in the morning allow the "sharing" with co-workers during the day.
