Quote:The difference is Snowden exposed actual serious stuff while this is like exposing basically nothing for the sole purpose of driving a false narrative that Trump is a Russian agent.  Quite a difference.

And no.  You guys have let Fox News indoctrinate you to the point of wanting to punish people who are telling you how the government is overstepping their constitutional authority.

If our government is engaged in illegal activity, the people need to know.

Nope.  Snowden did the very same thing that the rogue members of the intelligence community did.  It's all "serious stuff".  Snowden released and exposed highly classified information that caused our country and our government harm.  While this recent leak might not seem to be "that big of a deal" for some, it's actually a more serious breach of security.  Once again, I won't go into much detail, but it's pretty major.

There is a saying regarding a certain distribution of Linux.  "The more silent you become, the more that you hear".

Small seemingly "insignificant" details regarding something actually is very valuable information.
Quote:So he was preventing WW3, and then he lied about it.  Why would he lie about preventing WW3?

This whole thing about "he lied" is maybe technically correct, but it's not taken in the proper context.

From what we know from the illegally leaked information, in his phone conversation with the Russian Ambassador he was asked about the sanctions and his response was that then President-elect Trump would be in office soon and that they would then evaluate sanctions and other policies regarding it.

Technically, he did have "discussion" about sanctions, but it wasn't specific.  It wasn't like he promised anything.

When he talked to Vice President Pence, he wasn't dishonest about saying that he didn't "discuss the sanctions with the Russian Ambassador" during their phone conversation in the context of if they would be lifted or otherwise.  There was no negotiation of any kind.

The "gotcha" by the left is the answer to the question, "did you discuss sanctions against Russia" or something to that affect.  He really didn't although the topic did come up and he technically did say something about it.  The "discuss sanctions" thing can mean two things.  The first, did the topic come up?  The second, was anything negotiated or proposed?  It appears to me (from what I've seen) that the topic came up but was never really discussed.  General Flynn did nothing wrong by telling the Russian Ambassador that the policy would be reviewed by the incoming administration.

It's a technicality and a parsing of words.  Yes he did discuss sanctions with the Russian ambassador briefly, but his response when asked was the proper thing to say.  He did nothing wrong, but when the press got a hold of the story they made it out to be something else.

General Flynn did nothing wrong, yet his career was ruined by irresponsible reporting by the MSM.

You believe this? You really don't believe there is more to this that we don't know, but the Trump administration does?

Sorry, he wasn't canned due to a technicality. President claims it was multiple incidents of untrustworthy actions.

My humble opinion. Trump attacked the countries spy agency and they were giving him a wake up call. The new National Security Advisor was their victim. They aren't playin games as most will be working long after this administration is over.
Trump supporters are Racist.

I can't really elaborate more, but the bottom line is that General Flynn was a scapegoat.

The real story that the MSM should be talking about is the leaks.
And the hits keep coming. I can barely keep up at this point.

What will tomorrow bring?

Will trump's first 100 days also be his last as president?

More liberal fake news.

You don't have to buy the rope. But you can take someone to the store to get it, knowing what they intend to do with it.

Or you can just hide it behind a movement pretending to be legitimate. Right? You should keep the card dropping to a minimum or at least wait until it may be on topic.

He did nothing wrong, but the MSM somehow managed to get Trump to fire him.   Oooookay.
Lol @ this thread.

If what Trump did (nothing) was treason, then Hillary Clinton should have already been locked away for life, 2 years ago.

Preach
Treason? That's silly talk.

Incompetence? Absolutely. Treason is a laughable charge.
I think I just witnessed the best press conference of all time.

Very fake news blown the smithereens.
Trump took the media to school.  He gave the CNN reporter a long rope and the guy had nothing but Hillary talking points.

He showed the difference between the pros and the amateurs.

obummer wouldn't have lasted 20 minutes in a press conference like that. His teleprompters  wouldn't have been able to bail him out.
