Ladies and Gentlemen, it's that time once again! Time for the NFL Toilet Bowl Game of the Week!

Today the dismal jets of New Jersey travel to The Bank where they will take on the Prowler-jersey clad Jaguars of Jacksonville.

Both teams enter today's game at 3-10, the dreams of a lost season prominent in the minds of both fanbases. For the jets, the return of A-A-Ron was supposed to bring them to the top tier of the AFC, but an early season breakdown, the firing of the team's senior leaders, and lackluster play (but stellar blame casting) from Rodgers leaves them in disarray.

The Home Town Heroes are also bad, having lost many players this season including stalwart Tight End Evan Engram just this week. Mac Jones brings his feisty but undertalented game to the QB spot again today off a rare win last week over the also putrid tittians. Not much hope remains for this franchise this year, as the fans wait, hope, and pray for a shake up on Black Monday.

The game will be shown locally on Fox with kickoff slated for 1pm. Board instability is currently slated for 1:14pm, we'll have to see how that goes this week.

So anyone got any preferences for our next HC assuming Doug gets fired? I know a lot of people like Ben Johnson but everything I keep reading says he's highly interested in the Bears job. So, thoughts?

We survived. Bye weeks and down seasons led to one of the flattest weekends ever for AFCS football. The resident Bobcats took the underdog and made ground on the field, but only a single game. Do any AFCS teams pull the upsets this Sunday?

MIA @ HOU: Houston comes off a bye, but Miami is a better team than their record shows. Do the tinhorns prove they are ready for January football, or can Tua and co. play the spoiler?

IND @ DEN: Richardson and altitude. Does he pull himself out after a big run? Payton is a magician for what Denver's been able to accomplish this year.

NYJ @ JAX: Another battle to see who is least awful, apologies to STH for having to endure this game.

CIN @ TN: Speaking of STH, after Sunday's failfest against the Jags, does anybody even show for this game?

During the replay of the post-game speech Pederson gave to the team, the goal of going 5-0 was repeated a disturbing number of times. This illusion could actually happen now that we are playing teams that are as bad or worse than we are.  We finish 7 - 10 with a 5 game win streak, and Khan retains both Doug and Trent. We weaken our draft, retain players/coaches that should be released, and then repeat the same lousy performance in 2025.  it's going to be bad enough that the team is going to be nomadic for the next 3 years without
having to endure the same dreadful product as well.

Was there a "lets go 6 and 0" mantra before the Tacks game? Would have made more sense considering we werent mathematically eliminated at that point.

Interesting on the offensive side:  Interesting to see that Mac Jones and Walker little finish in the green on offense



Defense: Hines Allen had a game. Cisco played his best game of the season. Also Darby played well in a very limited role. (17 snaps, he may have been benched)

so I'll take my thank yous first,and then I'll eat some crow for being wrong about jags not being able to win this week.

After a poor first half, Mac had a good gritty second half. He bought time in the pocket and had good chemistry going on with Bjt. Mac throws a very catchable ball. Mac also had a good second half against Houston.

The problem is he is good no huddle Qb but the Jags resort to traditional huddle ball in the first half.

Good job Mac! This is his audition . Lawrence has 2 concussions in about a years time. The Jags need a plan B.
