2023 Offseason Roster Moves

When is the point you can sign players that won't affect the comp pick situation? Do you have to wait until they are officially released or is it sooner?

I'm loving this comp pick strategy, makes so much more sense to me. You get more rookie picks and you can still fill in holes on the roster with unrestricted free agents whenever that is allowed.

I think we've done it perfectly, draft Trevor, stack Free agents, proven Trevor is good enough now it's about preparing the roster for his contract. Ie more players on rookie contracts

I presume players picked up via trades do not affect comp picks either? Still a route we can go down if we want to add a few extra vets

To the [BLEEP] tacks. Well, was fun for a year. Don't blame him for chasing the money. Can't wait to see Robinson, Little or Scherff pancake his [BLEEP] twice this year though.

Free agents signed after the NFL draft (April 29th is the last day of the draft this year) do not impact the compensatory picks formula.

You're wrong again.  He has more wins than he has losses

that;s like saying because Trent Dilfer has an SB ring, he belongs among the great QBs in NFL History.

He was poor at what he did, which is why he wasn't a long-term fixture in Denver, and managed only EIGHT attempts at his second attempt at leading a team. (How the fart you manage only 8 passes in two starts without running triple option, BTW?). He's little more than a punchline as a pro QB.

Nice try.

Take a page from Frozen and let it go man.
I'm not the one that brought him up.  You got the wrong guy.  I just had to de-bunk the lies.  He's still winning, just look at his wife.

one thing I have learned is that looks aren't everything. I don't know Timmah or his bride personally so I ain't judging, but it takes more than eye candy to say you won the lotto when it comes to life bed partners.

Imagine if we gave Jawan Taylor that 80m contract when it was time for Trevor to get an extension and we just ignored him. When one guy is actually important to the franchise and the other is an average player, i'm sure he'd feel some way too. Also what i'm saying comes directly from an interview from Ramsey that's on youtube, not my memory.

Imagine being so deluded as to think Trevor is the type to fake an injury and demand a trade in that circumstance.

With what money? We have less the 6 mil in cap space and still have to sign or rookie class.  Bryce Calahan is the one guy I think we could possibly sign for maybe 2 mil on a one year deal.

Shoot Let’s get Bryce. We can’t rely on just the draft to make us true contenders

Who is that LB we're attempting to trade for again? He would essentially replace Key.

I heard we were going after Za'Darius Smith.
Didn't realize it was a trade though

Yea, what I was amazed at is how long it took him to twist the conversation so he could attack Treavor. (I believe that is his sole purpose in life) I do apologize to everyone else on the board for playing with the troll.

I usually wish our players success when they leave...

so I wish for Key to eventually get traded to another team for a 7th round bust where he can have a banger year and not be stuck on the tacks.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

If we trade for him, idk how we afford him. He has a $15m cap hit and $21m hit next year. Unless we trade and extend but he's 30 already. Maybe they're just waiting on him to be released since he requested it and then will go for him.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
