You fail to consider that I might just remember these things without having to look them up.  Facts are facts.  They look the same whether I read about them 10 years ago and recite them to you now or if I just learned them 2 minutes ago and copy and paste them.  I have a good memory, and I'm not going to hide it nor will I accept criticism for it.

I don't get you, Marty. How can you possibly see that as an attack? It's a point. One that Mikey isn't addressing for a reason.

I spent at least 4 posts attempting to flesh out the nuance of a word, including how it came to be, and how different groups use it, and he tries to create a reductio ad absurdum argument that is baseless and dismissive. That's annoying. I did the same thing back at him, and you home in on my post as an attack? It's a response to: "Is that really what the great red/blue debate comes to? A few dumb commercials?" Do you really believe Mikesez is that stupid? Do you really think he thinks that's what I was trying to say? No. he doesn't. Just like I don't believe what I said. It's not an effective argument both ways, which was the point. 

On a side note, above I used the phrase "home in," but I wrote it as "hone in" and received an autocorrect error. Looked it up. Home in is the more common and older version of the phrase, which I would not have guessed in a million years.

That's not how I saw it.  Because you were not describing your own opinion or feelings, but rather the view of "most conservatives", people who, on average, are less educated and less logical than us, I had some doubt about if you really thought this whole thing comes down to a few dumb commercials.  So your retort really confused me.

Trump has broken the law repeatedly. 
1. His retaining of records violates US code, but that portion of the US code does not have criminal penalties.
2. His various applications for loans violate NY state code, but that will only result in cancelation of privileges and fines.
3. His payments to Stormy Daniels violated campaign finance law, but that also is likely to result only in fines.
4. His speech on January 6 2021 violated the insurrection act.  That is the only place where any real action is. I think Pelosi and Shumer had the power per the 14th amendment to pass a resolution finding that he engaged in insurrection, but they deferred that to DoJ.  DoJ is still thinking about it.  That's where all the action is, because that's how he could end up in jail or without any ability to run for office or hold office.  
Everything else is sideshow.
