Smart people seem to forget other people aren't smart. They also think people in positions or degrees like them are smart. So they say look at the data, it shows no increase. What they forget is they are only looking at data that is captured. They stop there because MSM, who wouldn't lie to them, told them the data shows it's fine. They don't care to look further and see the cities not reporting data anymore or the fact that crimes aren't reported, investigated, or charged. The stats are manipulated to remain the same while the reality is much different and these liberals usually aren't affected.

I disagree.  Intelligent people view most people as intellectually inferior to them and thus appoint themselves to help us poor savages because clearly us intellectually inferior people are incapable of taking care of ourselves.  All the while never realizing the stark contrast between intelligence, education and wisdom.

The statement isn't about how everyone is seen, it's about how they see others in the same level or above them. It's similar to a class thing where they think the people in similar roles/positions should be trusted like you should trust them.

There are definitely people who see everyone as stupid but not talking about them.

Intelligence, Knowledge, and Wisdom is an interesting topic to discuss with other people who think intelligence or degrees matter.

My IQ must be 35 because I do not believe any of the "facts" the Dumbocrats have tried to feed me.

*Bideonomics!  It saved the Economy! People have cash just flowing out of their pockets! Homes are so easy to get and the interest rates are at basement bottom interest rates
*The border!  There is no problem at the border!  Every immigrant coming in here is legal, screened and verified.  Harris as the Border Czar had it under Control!  Cities like San Francisco, Chicago, NY, Portland and every other left wing city are some of the safest places to raise kids on the planet! Record low crime numbers!
*Biden was as Sharp as a razor and you feel like a mental midget next to him. You were a moron to question his cognitive decline. There was never any issues of cognitive decline.  It was DEEP FAKES! The hundreds of videos where he is clearly showing signs of Dementia dating back to 2019 were all DEEP fakes and lies!
*Harris has a clear, detailed, laid out plan to save this country.  She will Unite the country and make us all great again.  Her Track record along with her inspiring speeches are something all Americans should cherish.
*Trump is a crook that should be in prison for hundreds of years.  How dare he agree with the Banks assessment on his property value or be the first one ever to pay off some hooker.  I know typically that lawyers are saying, is a low level crime that almost always ends in no jail time.  Throwing 34 felonies at him and saying the word Felon over and over again, made me believe it!

It's funny... I have a progressive friend who is super intelligent. We were having this conversation about conservative "fear." Just because your predictions are right doesn't mean they were based on wisdom rather than fear.

False. All I said was it's too small of an issue to change my vote.  Most of them admitted that they would still vote for Trump if the situation was reversed.  So even though they don't like me calling it a "small issue" or a "little lie", in effect it's the same.  It doesn't change my vote, and it wouldn't change theirs.

Note that this is not a disagreement about how the military works, or about how the military should work. It's only a disagreement about how important it is to avoid saying "I was rank X in the military" when indeed you used to be rank X but upon retirement were demoted to rank Y.

The bottom line is these folks can tolerate disagreement, and they can tolerate people who don't know military terms, but something in them sets off when someone disagrees with them who also doesn't know military terms.  They can't just let it be.

I can handle disagreements just fine it's your disingenuous nature that grinds my gears.  That's not exactly an unknown around here.

Allow me to offer you some additional albeit unrequested advice:

1.  If you are going to act as the “expert” on every single topic that comes up, develop a thicker skin.

2.  When it comes to the mindset of someone that served you know nothing.  A google search cannot and will not help you in this matter.  I have not knowingly met a single member of the Duval Pride family that has served, and yet I have a deep connection with each and every single one of them beyond a passion for the Jaguars.  You will never understand what we shared unless you shared it with us.

3.  When you question any of us about a military matter you better expect several of us to rise up come after you, because we will.  What Waltz did was no accident.  He deliberately lied for political gain, period!

I hope this helps you in future discussions.  Carry on.

All. of. this.

And I'll add to this; we can give each other [BLEEP] (good or bad) in ways that civilians can't and shouldn't. That's just how it is.

I didn't give you any [BLEEP]! Literally everything I said was "I don't really know, but I'd guess...". Literally the opposite of acting like an expert.

Just because you can read doesn't mean you can comprehend, either.

I'd like to have an discussion where one person says conservatives can see problems coming and are usually right in their predictions and the other says no, they're like the boy who cried wolf.  And they continue with examples where different politicians warned about things that did or didn't happen.

Discussing the emotional state of millions of voters that you will never meet seems less interesting.  At least to me.

Operatives for both parties use FUD in their messaging.  It's a given.

Like I said, you don't comprehend what you read, dog. I shouldn't have to baby step you through thinking.
