Luckily for us your terrible take is terrible, and Trevor is with us for the next couple seasons.
Sit back and watch. New coaching staff next year is not going to put up with Trevors inconsistency.

That was a horrible defensive holding call that wiped away a 3rd and long incompletion and instead gave the tinhorns 1st and goal.  It's not a stretch to say the refs contributed to significantly to that extra 4 points there and they won by 4.  The tinhorns are/were sloppy today, but that's one instance where they got bailed out and it directly led to the additional 4 points.  The browns got a very questionable roughing call on their first and only TD drive against us that also wiped away a 3rd and long incompletion.  Both were already in FG range and should have resulted in FG tries instead of 1st and goals.

None of this exonerates anyone's poor play today.  We've just had some very bad luck to go along with the poor execution.

On the flipside, what do you thinks the odds are that Jags OTs held Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson to 0 sacks without holding?  (Luckily they weren't wearing red gloves.)

So the defense to an obvious bad call is "well your guys just didn't get caught"?  C'mon dude.  Congrats on the game W, but this is a message board L argument for you.

They'll be mandated to if it continues again based on the contract.  The next staff will probably be granted some assurances that they get 3 or 4 years so they have a future without Lawrence if it comes to that.

Is this a lack of touch or just bad ball placement?   I'll wait.

Happened today twice. One hit Gabe in the face and a deep pass hit Kirk in the hands. Everyone is crapping on Trevor for his big contract, yet we paid millions to those two to be game changers as well. Using their logic there’s no excuse for those drops.

If you wanna rake him over the coals for the two misfires deep, and he should be today; as that’s extremely no bueno in a close game; have to be fair and acknowledge he also made up for it with good throws that were dropped. Heck we saw it last year repeatedly with Ridley. We’re just misfiring as a team, and it’s bled over into TL as well.

Downright false

Offense and its calls changed last year. It was obvious

This year was made abundantly even more clear they were shaking things up again with more under center drop backs etc

We’ve been pivoting away from building the offense around what we have to work with

Finally, the no trade clause you quote, for the thousandth time; can be waived by Trevor. It’s not ironclad. And I can’t see, if the team wanted to trade him, Trevor saying “don’t trade me, I wanna stay in this terrible clown show”

It's the same HC and OC since 2022, sure you might add a few things but it's the same scheme and verbage. I don't even know what you're saying lol. No coach just remake's an offense. It's 3 years in, it needs to be better, bottomline.

You’re right normally coaches don’t remake offenses but this is Doug and Press were talking about; just missing a third stooge.

Are you related to Trevor? I primarily only see you defend him or say things like "he just needs to go somewhere else where he'll be respected" or some [BLEEP].

Checking in to see if "The Flat Earth Society" was still at it after today's loss and, yep, they are holding fast against all reason.

"Fundamentalusm" is pucking a belief that either brings you some comfort or security and then desperately twisting any and all empirical evidence to justify that belief.

In this case, it isv"Trevor Lawrence is an elite, franchise QV".

When he gags up a hairball again in the 4th quarter? It's "Press Taylor, that bum!" Or it's the terrible receivers! Or the Offensive Line! Or, or, or.... but the belief that whatever happens might need to be evidence of that core belief being adjusted, not a chance.

It's not Trevor's fault, ever. He's the bestest! He has more upside than Mahomes! If we just get a real coach or receivers or play caller or new towels or whatever it is this week, he will play like I dream he does! Hobest!

Continue to rage against those of us who see and believe and live on a round earth, guys....

The obsession is so weird for a guy that had another yet mediocre game of 169 yards with with 2 TDs.

But somehow its coaching or the line or whatever the next excuse will be....

Look I believe coaching definitely plays a part, no one on the offense looks comfortable at all.

But man Lawrence, balls at 90 mph and high consistently. They genuinely all just look lost out there with zero confidence, the ball before the muffed punt Kirk didn’t even put out his hands to try and catch it.

The killer of this game that pretty much cost them was the 1 yard line. They had 4 tries. Could not get into the endzone. The Jaguars have a history of this nonsense. 1 yard. That would have sealed the win. But, they couldn't get one damn yard.

Speaking of the 1 yard line shenanigans, I believe it was the 3rd down play where Trevor had a read-option play and still handed off the ball, even when the edge rusher crashed down heavily, which otherwise would have been a walk-in touchdown.

That one falls on him as well for making a poor read and not pulling that ball and waltzing into the endzone.

It REALLY looked to me like he wanted to keep that one, too, I saw that open up and figured we had it in the bag. The handoff was...awkward.

I haven't read anyone else's comment, but here is my opinion of the Houston game. Trevor missed at least 3 wide open passes any one of which could have won us the game. He missed a wide open Brian Thomas for what would have been a touchdown, he missed a wide open Christian Kirk for what would have been a touchdown, and he missed a wide open Travis Etienne for what would have been a critical first down late in the game.

I don't know if that is what Trevor is going to be, but I sure hope not.

He also bounced another one off of GDavis's face mask that would have won the game.

Ummm, that's the same Gabe Davis we saw in Buffalo the last couple years. He's a 45 catch guy who disappears for long stretches. He's certainly no Zay Jones, much less Calvin Ridley.
