3.  Lageman had good things to say about Cam RObinson, but identified footwork as his primary issue.  My thing is Warhop has been his position coach for two seasons.  Why haven't those footwork issues been fixed.  Lageman also said the thinking was that the team struggled to protect in obvious passing situations, and that if the team were more competitive, there would be fewer obvious passing situations, that would result in ;ess pressure on the QB.  As for the rest of the OL, Lageman indicated he was surprised like we were about the Norwell news, but he was saying Norwell has performed very well the last two years.  He also said backup C would need to be addressed because Shatley is a free agent, and that Linder can't be relied upon to stay healthy for 16 games.

4.  Lageman thinks Baalke is right about the RB room, and that James Robinson was good last year, but they need to add some explosiveness to the depth, and that adding explosiveness was not limited to the WR position.  As for WR, Lageman emphasized Chark has to improve.  Collin Johnson does a good job of getting separation.

1) This is so vague, I don't think we'll ever know what a culture fit is, or why a Jax native was picked for the position. Not my money, but I don't see how or why an FO can't ascertain whether prospects will bring issues to a locker room, have trouble with nightlife, etc. I like that we are listening to multiples of voices when it comes to roster decisions, but the GM has to establish his authority and direction for the team or it will become a disjointed collection of guys that don't quite fit any particular system.

2) This must be going back some years, because since Shad bought the team I can't remember any season that we didn't push up against the cap. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Let's hope that we bring more guys in that are worth spending to the cap on. Win through the darft, FA is too often spending frivolously.

3) "Why doesn't my Buick LeSabre drive like a Corvette?" You can hire the best mechanics in the world, and that Buick is still going to have its limitations. Cam was never a technician. I doubt you're going to be able to coach his feet to be quicker, no matter who we have coaching the line. The good coach is the one who recognizes the issue and finds a way to account for it in another manner.

4) I think a big part of improving Chark is getting someone on the other side of the field that can draw the D's attention.
