So, women should be allowed to play against men, if they so choose, but men aren't allowed to compete against women in non-physical competition?  That doesn't exactly meet the definition of equal rights. 

P.S. Forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but "men only" tournaments that allow women aren't men only.

You are also being very dense, you're confusing statements of what should happen with statements of what does happen

People of both genders have a right to organize single gender tournaments.
It is better if there are mixed gender tournaments, but no one has any obligation to organize tournaments that way if they don't want to.
In recent history, there were very few tournaments where women could compete against men. The women protested, and that changed, but if men ever want to do a men only tournament that is still their right.
