NYC has a hard time seeing how he's a part of the problem, as do all the moderates on this board. He casually uses words like "far right" and "extremists" without even considering how those words have been distorted by the left. He can't even acknowledge that the leftist media intentionally misleads.

Would you prefer that? I've told you before that if say you and then make mentions of moderates or liberals more broadly, I am attacking a position, not you as a person. You don't ever seem to make that distinction. Even when I intentionally don't mention you but speak to your point by addressing all moderates or liberals, you apply it to yourself.

I have stated specific problems they cause, and I have encouraged the moderates here to challenge the information they are being fed. It's a perfectly rational position, and it works whether you're being lied to or being told the truth. If your solution starts and stops with the authorities, then progress is limited to that of the authorities. Knowledge is limited to that of the authorities. Morality is limited to that of the authorities. That's terrible, and if you don't want to have your world dictated by people you disagree with, you shouldn't advocate for it when your side holds power.

Seems a bit ridiculous to me. 
By the way - the whole "some slaves were taught to be blacksmiths" narrative he's trotting out (while silly compared to the rape, torture, detainment, child separation etc) is actually even more silly when you learn that West African slaves who already knew blacksmithing actually brought previously unknown techniques to the states. Many of them were actually sent out to various other blacksmithing forges to teach their techniques.
