I really think they changed their mind on the play they would run between 3rd and 4th down. The 3rd down was to run the clock down to the last second and get closer for a field goal. They let it run down to 5 seconds and called time out. Then the Phins called time out. I'm guessing they changed their minds during those two time-outs and decided to try and get the first down and yardage. Just a guess, of course, but I can't think of any other reason to explain it.

I can see Lambo going to a playoff contending team later this season if another kicker goes down, he has time to heal and work on his game. Hope he gets another chance elsewhere
