hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Cam Newton instantly added wins to a team that was bad enough to draft him 1st overall.
Kirk Cousins took a team RGme couldn't move forward with and made them a playoff team.
Big Ben has elevated his team around him ever since he was a Steeler.... he wasn't loaded on talent until most recently on the offensive side of the ball.

Regardless of how you keep trying to throw around excuses for Bortles.... Even with a better run game and a better OL, this team still has to game plan around Bortles to win.
HE WAS A TOP 5 SELECTION!!!!!!

I think you've officially taken the place of JDub as the most DENSE poster on the board spacecoast.

Not banging the drum for Bortles , but you just called someone dense after saying Ben was not loaded with talent around him? He came into the league walking into a ready made dynasty around him!!!

Yeah I loved the game this year where he threw for 144 yards on 37 passes. He's so good all the Bills message boards want Nate Peterson

Tyrod is terrible. Even with Shady running all over the field last year he couldn't do anything. He's just another solid backup qb.

He's been consistently awful since he came into the league. Much worse than Blake.

I would take his 2015 numbers as a starter in a heartbeat, far from awful!

Shhhhh it doesn't meet their narrative. It's like Watson being drafted on a playoff caliber Texans team.

Bortles was drafted on a (2-14) AWFUL team with the worst head coach in NFL history, no O line, no running backs (is Gerhart a RB?), and a #28 scoring defense and these clowns expect Bortles to make the Jags a playoff contender RIGHT AWAY.

Wrong. You know what makes them a playoff contender? Coughlin/Marrone. They fixed the defense. They fixed the o line for the most part. They fixed the running game. The passing game isn't great because we had bad luck by losing A Rob and Hurns/Lee aren't very good. Westbrook should help.

These people act like it's Bortles fault the entire franchise was so bad all these years. This is the FIRST year Bortles has actually had help and he doesn't even have his #1 WR yet he's doing great managing games.

If only we had also wasted a first round pick on Mariota!

If Bortles can't take this super team Jags to the playoffs then he will never sniff the playoffs.

This team is loaded with all he needs even without Arob. It doesn't fit YOUR narrative.

Tyrod Taylor: 136 attempts, 910 yards, 62.5%, 49.3 QBR, 90,6 rat

Blake Bortles: 170 attempts, 1,076 yards, 57.1%, 36.9 QBR, 79.2 rat

and TT definitely has worse receivers than Jax after losind Watkins and Woods.

its not even a debate who is better

Two years ago these clowns said Teddy Bridgewater was the best ever. Last year these clowns were saying Mariota was the best ever. This year it's Watson. Next year when Watson is terrible, it will be some other schlub.

QBR is the most ignorant stat of all time. If you enjoy a checkdown QB who averages 15-20 TD a season and will never break 20 TDs then Taylor is right for you.

Taylor will be replaced by Nate Peterson by next year. I promise you. He sucks.

Why did you leave out tds? If you are going to compare try and be objective

Quick Name a QB who loses their #1 WR before the season starts and makes the playoffs?! Cam Newton is the ONLY one I can think of.

Tyrod Taylor is terrible. He won't be their starter next year. He's a backup like Bridgewater
You already know this but the second part says " Tyrod should remain QB because he gives us the best chance to stay in the playoff hunt".

He'll be a starter somewhere else if released from his contract next year.

You just don't know what you don't know.

Aren't you the same guy who said Bortles was the best QB in the AFC south last year?

Just look at the guy you're agreeing with.

Spacecoastjag is the same guy who claimed he spoke to Bortles agent who said he was going to the jets this year.

He also said he spoke to Latavious Murray or "Tay" as he calls him who told him he was 100% signing with the jaguars during the offseason.. he plays for the Vikings now.

He doesn't have a clue

Brady. Rodgers. Newton.

Stop your Bortles love fest. He’s not the future, he’s not even an average starter right now, and will not be a surefire starter in this league ever again.

Well see if Blake is any good this Sunday. The clots give up the most deep passes in the league. If he can’t break 250 yards that’s all you need to know.

Tay wanted to be in Jax. Minn offered a lot more money because Jags had $ tied up to Ivory.

Not nearly as bad as McElwain.
