At the end of the day.   People are not mad about the ejection.  They are mad due to possible future suspension due to ejection.

And it could hurt us Ramsey not there the next game or two.  Which would be a bunch of bull.   And I wouldn't agree with.

Ramsey needs to cool his antics. Stop acting like you won the SB every time a QB misses his WR. The kid acts like a clown every down. Luckily he is top 3 in the league so I look past it all Big Grin

Someone as passionate as him is EXACTLY what this team needed.

Pushing a guy is not passion that's childish and could have cost the team.

Y’all do realize AJ pushed hi first and then he pushed him back? I know the narrative is that Ramsey instigated the fight but he didn’t. This was all on AJ losing his cool

Anyone at the game saw Ramsey pretty much following Green back to the huddle and off the sideline for most of the first half.  The push wasn't childish.  It occurred while the play was just wrapping up.  Green had shoved Ramsey initially, and all Ramsey did was shove back, which happens all the time during the game.  Ramsey was in his head by that point, so that push was his last straw for him.

As far as passion goes, I'll take the "childish" passion Ramsey shows on the field.  You want guys out there who are confident enough to show some swagger, and good enough to back it up on the field.  To a man, when players were interviewed in the post game, they said that ejection actually motivated them to step up their game in the 2nd half, and you could see the defense doing exactly that when they took the field.

Me, too.   I like players who are so prideful they cannot stand losing even one play.

BAH! That after the whistle pushing and shoving happens in every game every weekend.

If he backs it up with his game, I'm OK with all of Ramsey's antics.

I'd have said "talent and competent coaching" were what we lacked ahead of passion, but I guess a little more passion helps too.

Two things happened Sunday that I think we'll look back on as either pivotal moments, or indicators of future success.

Ramsey gets ejected, his teammates step it up so his absence isn't noticed. Fournette is a healthy scratch, inactive for team rule violations, his teammates step it up so his absence isn't noticed.

Not only that, witness Fournette on the sideline, not pouting or standoffish, but engaged.

I have a feeling about this team, my only hesitation in voicing it is due to fear of a jinx.

Interesting personal observation of Fournette on the sideline...

Start of the game he looked/acted was seen on camera multiple times in each case he was very uncomfortable with being in street clothes. It was only when the game was out of reach that he cracked a smile. That is a good indicator as well.

Since smith first year have had talent here. Actual coaching agree 150% though.

That wasn't even a shove. The was a push. AJ soft for that if it knocked him to the ground. Jalen barely even tried.

That was the encouraging thing about the current situation.  To add to that, you had AJ Cann injured, so the line once again required a reshuffling, and you barely noticed.  The offensive line was a major concern coming into the season, and despite the fact that the starting 5 haven't actually played a game together since nearly the start of the season, it has proven to be a real strength.

It's interesting to note that there was once a time when fans clamored for the offense to be on the field.  Now they get excited every time the defense is out there because the guys are just flat out balling, especially when they get a lead.

This team has bought into what Marrone and Coughlin have been preaching since day 1, and it's really fun to watch now that they've started to figure out how to win.

I'll take Ramseys "childish" antics all day every day.

I don't want him to change how he plays at all because he's clearly getting in WRs heads. They hate him and if the refs did their job correctly, Green would have been ejected with Ramsey staying in the game. Ramsey did exactly what he set out to do.
