Not too many people from other teams have bothered to visit this board and its predecessor over the years.  What's the point in trolling a team so far down?  Heck, you guys have been so insanely successful for so long, of course all of this stuff is old hat to you. 

I like the change.

I happen to like debating football with fans of other teams, because I like seeing the different perspectives and learning other things.

Strength of schedule?  The Patriots didn't have a difficult schedule.  I don't get that argument here.

Two of the better teams they did play (KC and CAR) they lost to.

This isn't the 2007 Patriots.  This team is definitely beatable and the Jaguars 100% have the potential to beat them this week.

Jax's was 30th in the league in terms of strength.
There are 32 teams in the league.

At one point, NE had this:

@ Denver
vs Oakland but in Mexico City
@ Miami
@ Pitt

Show us a similar challenging stretch for Jax:

Denver-Non playoff team 5-11
Oakland-Non playoff team 6-10
Miami-Non playoff team 6-10
Pitt-Jaguars' equivalent to a homecoming opponent

The Jags should stay in Nickel and Dime as the Pats don't have a dominant running game. Lewis and whoever does a pretty good job, but they're not big, bruising backs. They're the little, scat, shifty, type. Thus the Jags don't need to run the 4-3 or 4-6 much if any.

They can go with Jalen on Gronk and Bouye on Cook. Or run single high safety with Gipson, while Telvin shades Gronk underneath with Church over the top, Jack is man up with whatever back is in.

Jags on O should try pounding the ball. If NE is selling out to stop it, send the TE's over the middle and on out breaking routes. I would also use Blake on the Roll Out. If the Pats are determined or rather playing to stop the run and roll out, that leaves other areas of weakness which the Jag coaches need to take advantage of.

Marrone is looking to be a very cerebral coach. The offensive game plan he had for the Steelers shows this. That playaction up the middle to Bohanan backs this up.

Whoever is on Cook needs to maul him at the line! In the past, that's how you dealt with NE and their passing game. Coupled with hitting Brady in his mouth

Brady and the Pats are so good because of their SYSTEM. Brady and Bill have a connection which has flourished over the years because they have a great connection. Brady is able to give Bill what he wants on the field. Again, they have a SYSTEM and to fight a system you have to disrupt it. There's a reason many WR's couldn't cut it on the Pats. Brady demands his WR's to be where they're supposed to be on time...so he can almost make the throws blind-folded. Brady is good...but any QB who put the work in would be able to duplicate what Brady done in this SYSTEM.

You clearly know nothing by saying "Pats don't have a dominant run game"...That's because the Pats play a different way almost every week. Are you new to this?

Dion Lewis and Rex Burkhead will shred your D if you believe that.

I'm not discounting Lewis, Burkhead or any of the Patriots RBs but with that said the Jaguars have played Shady McCoy and Le'Veon Bell in consecutive weeks and won.  Both of them scare me more than any RB the Patriots currently have.

The offensive line has been great, allowing the team to lead the league in rushing and control flow of games, even in Fournette's absence. I see you like big name offensive specialists and undervalue the trenches where football is really played. The Jags O line just shut out a league best Steeler D line in sacks, while paving the way to 45 points for their 'weak' O, in tough Heinz Field. The weak O, as a unit were 6th or so in points this year, scoring 30+ points routinely. For a team saturated with no-names you sure display depth in reasoning.  And it's lovely how your D is not a 'weakness' relative to your amazing one-man O, while expecting opposing fans to highlight their perceived weaknesses. #CharminglyDenseWithoutRealizingIt

At what age were  you then?

I guess this is directed at me? I was 11 and moved from Los Angeles to the Boston area. I was a Rams fan prior but that was the year they drafted Plunkett. He was a Cali guy, Heisman winner and had deaf parents. I have deaf people in my family so there was that connection as well. I was 1/2 from the [BLEEP] called Schaefer Stadium and could basically get in for free. A lot of cops from my town worked the games and new me. I summered every year of my life back east so it wasn't like I just showed up on the scene. I've been to hundreds of games but only go to two a year now though I'm only 15 minute from the stadium. I'm not sure if I've ever missed watching a game since becoming a fan. My buddies and I used to drive to bars outside of the 50 mile blackout circle for non sellouts but it's been 25 years since they haven't sold-out plus it's the cable age. I've had lots of good times revolving around the Patriots over the decade. Football brings people together

I came here just to check in. For me it's like walking to the stadium and running into fans from the opposing team. I like to just talk with them, and share the commonality of being a fan of the game. I never debate with them, or make predictions.

It isn't about being a victim, or playing one. It's about being tired of disrespect from [BLEEP] people. And a couple posters who claim to be lifelong Pats fans (as opposed to all the fans that were created after 2001) aren't going to change the anger it has instilled in us.

You don't get it... You wouldn't, being a fan of the penciled in SB champs year in and year out.
Playing victim is acting like a victim when nothing has been done to you. We're regularly laughed at for being fans of a team. We're regularly talked about relocation and tarps (even though neither is really an issue and hasn't been) our QB gets crapped on, and our D allows more than 20 points like twice in a season and those are the only games people wanna talk about.

i stand by my comment. Who else really scares you on that offense? Not being funny, but seriously. There is no one else who truly stands out on your offense. I will say Yeldon (spell) is decent as well but you really can't be surprised by that comment.

Nah, however, we own him. 
But you can't be mad at that, stop Fournette and the run and force Bortles to throw. We aren't the Steelers, I promise and our run defense is better than theirs. Steelers got behind fast via turnovers, Big Ben is know for those but not Brady. No disrespect but your offense doesn't scare anyone and is the weakness of your team. Thats a fact.

By the same token, who's scary on the Pats? Gronk & Brady. Yet, add up all the pieces and it makes for a productive, hard to stop offense. Lots of talent, but only 2 stars on offense.
