I'm not watching the Super Bowl.

It was possibly the best superbowl I’ve seen. Two sides going at it for the whole match, with some great plays and some incredible offense. Glad I decided to watch it in the end.

Congrats to those of you who gave yourself a trophy for missing it. I mentioned I wouldn’t watch. And the more time that passed the more I was accepting of yet another patriots win. I figured if nothing else, at least I would be watching history. But I’m glad I watched. And seeing the pats get hosed by the refs was icing on the cake. Congrats to those of you who gave yourself a trophy for missing it. The Pats didn't get hosed though, if anything they still got the benefit of the calls. The penalty that started their first TD drive was a bad call. Jeffery clearly got PI by Gilmore in the end zone right before that 4th down TD pass to Foles. Luckily that penalty didn't cost em, but it was still pretty blatant. The TD catch by the RB was called correct. His foot touch down before it hit the line. On one of the angles you can see the black pellets kick up as his foot drags really quickly before going out. The TD by the TE was called correct also. He took 3 full steps and dove. He was clearly an established runner. The refs let them play for the most part. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

The fact we seem to have mentioned the refs every Sunday this season for blown calls, errors, blowing a play dead, interpretation of the catch rule, etc. is not a good sign. That Bouye penalty in the AFCCG and the lack of defense in the SB is all the evidence one needs to deduce Goodell is trying to turn this into the NBA.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Ever since the refs went on strike and then came back. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
