Line is a much bigger need than CB for them. Waynes and Alexander played very well down the stretch

Yeah, I'd probably rank their top guys...

  1. Conner Williams
  2. Mike Hughes
  3. Jaire Alexander
  4. Orlando Brown
  5. Maurice Hurst

I'd throw Billy Price and Frank Ragnow up there. Fits their mold.

Price went to the Rams

Elflein to guard? I know he wasn't very good this year but I wouldn't give up on him just yet

Oh I see that now.

Naw, Ragnow or Price to guard would be the plan. Elfein was good at center. Vikings fans were happy with him.

Was talking to the guy that drafted Daniel's.  So Daniels to guard?

Hmm thats a tough one. Daniels is probably the better overall player so I think he can translate better at guard vs center. Not an easy choice.

Plus is always helps to have a G who can backup at C instead of having to carry two players.

For instance, the Jaguars could draft Daniels and plug him in at RG... and that should let them release Shatley.

Elflein played RG in his sophomore and JR year and was an All American at guard

Then I guess he's the guy you move.

Both guys only 6'3 300. Probably the smallest interior in the league.

Sorry for the delay dudes. Left the forum open for a while and haven't checked the mock draft thread until NYC messaged me (thanks, btw).

Billy Price was the pick until he went to the Rams. I felt better about the Vikes' tackles than I did their center.

Elflein was who I wanted us to draft last year in the 3rd

If I'm coaching, it's an open competition to find the best line I have.  Having Daniels and Elflein, who can both play OG and OC at a high level, makes me feel good about keeping Cousins upright even if injuries occur.

I see knarnn is online. Should we just agree he to give Sony Michel to the Patriots and let him pick for the Eagles?

Yes, Pats already said they wanted Michel. Nothing has changed

Eagles on the clock. 1st round went pretty smoothy. Lets keep this thing rolling. If anyone doesnt want to play anymore just say and someone else will take your team.

Taven Bryan Is going to be good. Oh how I wish we were picking top of the second instead bottom. He would be the ideal candidate to groom as Calais eventual replacement.

I don't see it. Much better athlete than a player right now and his instincts are shocking.

Is he a good athlete?  I didnt think he tested that well. Thought he is a better player than athlete, in the backfield pretty often

Im hoping Smoot will be the guy that is Calais eventual replacement. I like Bryan but far from the needs on this team. We need oline much more than we do dline.

Wow he has a better 10 split. That's impressive. But he is not quite as strong. Watt has incredible body lean for a man his size.
