I am going to Europe!! Any Advice?
|
I'm curious, do Europeans get excited about trips to the US like this?
I guess because Europe is so far away it seems more exciting, even though the US is bigger than all of Europe.

The train system by far is my biggest concern, I have some extremely quick which I'm already conceding that I am not going to make. Other concern I have is if I want to buy souvenirs where I am going to put them? Hahaha

Hahaha Don't worry to much, in spite of my complaints, the trains generally get you where you're going and regional trains work pretty well if you're going "hop on hop off" style. Also there is plenty of luggage space for your souvenirs. ![]() My advice (to echo Rick Steves) is pack light!
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Anyone want to clutch a dinner place for me? I'll be in Munich tonight and looking for good sausage/pretzel and beer places! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

There are so many things to see in this world. Yes I was excited to see NYC, Boston, Washington DC etc.... My last trip in New Zealand was the best of my life so far. Just a wonderful country and great people. BTW, look like many of you like beers. Germany has a lot of good beers, but the best beers in the world are in Belgium. We drink a lot of them in France. Whenever I go back to Europe, I am overwhelmed by emotions and anxiety but excited is not what I would describe it as.
I get excited when we visit the great north (Tennessee) cause we see mountians and it's a whole different climate. I can't imagine ever going to Europe just because of the pure cost and time it would require to take off. Maybe when the kids are gone and we retire in 30 years?
I have been to South America once but that was a missions trip as a teenager we went to help build a private school/church for two weeks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Tennessee mountains are nice, but they're pretty tame in the grand scheme of even American mountain ranges. I get it coming from FL, its definitely cool, but I'd never consider it the "great North" and honestly the lifestyle is more Southern than FL lol

A beer is 25 crown, a margarita was 35.......that's like 1 euro and 1.5 and both were very good and very big!! You can also walk into a night club and leave with an attractive girl in like 5 minutes

You can also walk into a night club and leave with an attractive girl in like 5 minutes It's all in the interpretation: ...with an "attractive" girl... ...with an attractive "girl"... ...with an attractive girl, which costs 2500 crown... |
