who have always played to win.... to do that?

I'd rather win out and keep morale high and give this team hope for next season. As far as the draft, let the chips fall when they may. Mahomes was drafted at 10

The 2019 Draft will not have any top 5 QB's and maybe not even a top 10.

I was glad to see that the players have not given up on the season. I am fine with the team win or lose, I just don't want to see us get blown out over the remaining games.

There was a lot of quit in this squad during that last regime, and I don't ever want to go back to that.

Honestly, if we ended up at 4 or 6 in the draft, I very much expected us to overdraft a position of need, so this may work out in the long run.

One thing is for sure, Tom Coughlin isn't concerned about draft status. I haven't seen him that happy in a while

This is just the opinion of a broom, but I was glad to see that ugly [BLEEP] Andrew [bleep] get shutout.

Maybe (probably) we can start the losing this week.

Even years ago when Indy purposely rested players in Week 17 in attempt to get the #1 draft pick so they could take Andrew Luck? Had we lost that game, the Colts would have taken RG III with the #2 pick

I enjoyed the win while also knowing it would be better for the team long-term if we lost.

Don't think there's anything wrong with either views. QBs are too important.

We have picked at the top of the draft for years and really hasn't produced great results. Forget the draft, I want to see wins. Stomp on the titans thursday too

All the so called fans that want us to lose so we can somehow end up with a better draft position should take note that this franchise has never actually drafted a franchise QB. Leftwitch, Gabbert, and Bortles have all been Top 10 draft picks and none of them have worked out.

I also don't have a lot of confidence with the current regime as they are 0-1 when it comes to franchise QB picks, so I'd rather try and win and see how everything shakes out.

The only point people are trying to make is that having a higher draft pick gives you the better chance to take the player you want. There are more players to choose from giving you the better chance to nail the pick.

I understand you're trying to prove a point that QBs can come from all over but of the 32 opening day starters, 24 of them were 1st rounders and 16 of those were top 10 picks. A couple more just outside the top 10.

My point is you don’t have to have a top 10 pick to find your guy. You DO need to find your guy in the first round to have the best chance AND have a FO smart enough to identify those guys, but it doesn’t have to be a top pick.

I never object to winning. But I also understand that the winning could come at the cost of having a possible QB replacement available. It's one of those weird choice/results/future things. Both sides have their positives; but nothing is guaranteed in the draft either. So I guess we'll see what happens down the road.
