Tebow being a very good college QB is not the same as being a good QB prospect. Which is why he was an awful first round drat pick (I know your Gator clouded eyes aren't aware of that).

Cam was a great prospect but barely played in Urbans scheme at college level and thus not even close to being comparable to Haskins in that scheme. If you wanted to say Cam is a much better prospect than Haskins I'd agree. But thats not what we're talking about.

I said "QBs Meyer ha coached" Tebow was a great prospect, the reason he went in the first round.  Hes an outspoken Christion though and the league doesn't want that

Josh McDaniels knows talent when he sees it

Which was in reply to me saying "Best QB prospect".

Tebow was a bad prospect who proved it by being awful in the NFL bar a few moments. The reason he's not in the league is because he's bad.

Ray Lewis is an outspoken Christian and he stayed in the league despite murdering someone. It's bizarre you think the NFL has some conspiracy against Christianity.

And yeah McDaniels also wanted Matt Casell and Kyle Orton to be his QBs.

Wentz is nowhere near outspoken as Tebow.  Not to mention the circus.  Teams admit they wouldnt sign him because of all the media attention.

In Tebows only year as a starter he completed 46% of passes. He was historically inaccurate.

How are there still Tebow stans in 2018. Just remembered he thinks Johnny Manziel was a great prospect too. Welp

Before any interview, Wentz says "First of all, I want to thank god."

In the NFL, you can literally be anything at all and still play. You can beat women (as long as there's no video apparently) and still play. The NFL gives so many chances it's not even funny. So to say someone doesn't play because they're Christian is just a dumb comment.

Tebow sucks.

I can't believe some people still talk about him and have some illusion of him being a pro quarterback, let alone a good pro quarterback.

Indeed. It's like someone saying someone isn't employed because of political views or protesting...

If the player is good enough, some team somewhere will over look whatever polarizing views or circus they bring.
Philip Rivers
Carson Wentz
Kurt Warner

Giants should really win this weekend which is huge for us. I know we would've done what we needed to to Get our guy but to not have to trade to do it is much better

We'd be looking at a top 2 or 3 pick if we didn't have to get that awful win against the Colts last week...but man that hour of dopamine was so worth risking our chance at a franchise QB!

I'll never understand the fans who we're so happy with a win last week when we are in this situation. It'd be different if we had a franchise QB, wins matter then. We have no franchise QB... we aren't doing a damn thing. The only ones who should care about the win is the organization/players/coaches... why? It's their livelihood... their jobs. That's completely different. They should say and never TRY to tank. As FANS... which is.. what i'm assuming we most all are... we can be objective. We can understand that a loss equals potential long term success of the franchise. Some fans just won't ever understand that aspect, and it makes no logical sense... as a fan. We all have to wake up and go to our jobs the next morning, just accept the L's now and feel good later.

Some people are just really, really bad at delayed gratification.

This is some of the dumbest [BLEEP] I have heard.  A real fan would want to win games and still hit on the pick.  If the GM was half way decent he could do that.

Of course they would, but what if that wasn't possible? What if you had to choose between a meaningless win and getting a franchise QB? You said it yourself, if the GM was halfway decent, he could do that. Do you have enough faith in Caldwell to do this? I don't. It's not that we don't want to win and get a franchise QB. Of course that would be the perfect scenario, it's just that we don't have enough blind faith in the organization to be able to accomplish such a thing.

During a meaningless game, I have not ever, or would ever, pull for the other team. That being said, after the game is over I have been glad the Jaguars lost due to draft position. There is only one exception to this; if it's the last couple games of the season and an Andrew Luck is in the draft I certainly would pull for the other team. Unfortunately, there is no Luck in this draft and someone like this comes around maybe once every decade.

If we have the 1st pick in the draft it wouldnt matter if Dave is picking.  It's not where you pick its who you pick.  It's always possible to hit, name the year and I can tell you who we should of picked.  The is always a guy or 2 on the board that we should of picked and didnt.  Out of any franchise this one should know that by now because of all the bad picks.  Where we have pick has never been an issue and it wont be this year even if we win out.  Its who we pick
