Unless the plan is to draft a QB in the second or third round. I put nothing past this crew, and really, if the team doesn't think any of the first-round QBs will be a franchise guy, I'd rather use the pick elsewhere than draft another bust.

If Mack is worth the farm, Ramsey is at least worth the house. If Oakland wanted to give us their highest first this year and a first next year, that's a deal I'd take.

Yep. Don't get me wrong. I think Jalen is good. Even great (at times), but you have to step back and look at the direction the league is heading in. I'd rather my stars be on offense 2019 and beyond. Statistically, defenses aren't sustainable over long periods of time.

He is under contract so why make any announcement before the draft? Who else do we have?

How exactly are they going to lose out on him? If Marrone and co. sucks like everyone is saying, wouldn’t these moves actually help getting Tua?

Khan announcing that they will be back, to me, means they are getting one more go where they need to draft a QB this year. Meaning you can't draft one the following year. How short sighted are you to not realize this? If we get a QB in FA then we won't have the record to get Tua in 2020.

Why not? Do you believe this team is a vet QB away from a 12-4 record? I surely don’t.

Flacco, Bridgewater, and Fitzpatrick will be the franchise saviors according to you.

I agree. It's pathetic people keep making excuses for this joke of a franchise.

Yes,  if he gets beat out and a replacement is found for 2 QBs he will be released.

Joeckel is the only one not playing in the NFL right now..... and he played for another team after leaving.

Settle down.

Not having the record means not having the first pick. We could go 4-12 and have the 2nd overall pick and we miss out on Tua. I guess Herbert will be there instead. Stop trying to put words in my mouth with your foolishness.

I’m confused.

So according to you they should fire everyone and that will make the team worse....or better?

I'm ticked off that he was stupid enough to give him an extension after proving he was not a consistent NFL QB. That was inexcusable. As far as trading up to get a QB, I don't think this organization is that smart. I believe we'll sit tight, let Haskins be chosen and we'll draft a bust like Daniel Jones or Ryan Finley.

It's an unpopular opinion, but I still think we shop Jalen. preferably to Oakland for their best 1st rounder and 2nd rounder.

Seriously, I wouldn't be opposed at all. When you have such a weakness like we do at QB, you do what you can to fix it. If that means trading a great defensive player, (when you have a wealth of defensive talent,) you do it. Like i said though I don't have confidence in this front office to make such a bold move. It's not in their character.

Not smart, when the fans know better. We know that as the owner of the team, he makes the decisions. Passing the buck doesn't fly. We know who is to blame.

Regardless of the QB,  we have had no OC,  WRs or TEs to throw too....

Dede had a couple of good games,  but had a horrible day today.... Fumble that lead to a TD and a crucial drop that was in his bread basket.....

Figures. Clean house on coaches. Forego QB in 2019. Draft for offensive depth and talent in 2019. Draft the franchise QB in 2020. Profit.

So if they continue to suck, we find our way to a top pick and they clean house. I know we live in a world of instant gratification but wouldn’t this make more sense?
